...Wait, so the character has to transform into battle mode and fight the enemies just because the episode focus on said character? Um... you do realize that it would be kinda cliche? Especially nowadays, desiring it would be like asking an overused cliche to be used... i love anime, but i'm tired of this kind of cliche in modern anime. I love Old Anime for not having today's cliches so oversaturated.

I dislike that they consider Ami-chan weak too in this episode and Rei-chan as well. I also wouldn't classify Mercury as the weakest Sailor scout considering her water based attacks grow stronger eventually and can over power Mar's most powerful attack the flaming sniper. Yes, Ami may physically be the weakest in terms of strength in raw power but her specialty of water/ice makes her more powerful than Mars in terms of magical attacks and her counterparts always show that distinction if you look at the lineup of the enemies i.e after season 1: the ayakashi sisters where Koan is the weakest, the Witches 5 Viluy being level 222 and Eudial being level 99, Palla Palla's magic being stronger than Ves Ves with Amazon quartet as well.
And yet when Minako got her dream mirror taken by Tigerseye and Hawkeye and they both peeked into it she was pratically having an orgasm, then she wakes up, is so enraged at being played by them that she gets herself out of the freaking metal handcuffs untransformed, then proceeds to transforms and attack them and nearly kills them both right there with one attack, granted both the lemures and Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon also nearly got hit too. You don't mess with Sailor Venus. Minako is badass even as a civilian.
After looking up what that joke at 2:20 was....welp, that completely flew over my head the first time I saw it, and I'm honestly surprised they put that in since Toei Animation, with some exceptions, typically leans towards family friendly material (not to mention, she, along with the fact she can't keep putting her hands in a more suggestive place, comes off more like something I'd expect from Cutey Honey, not Sailor Moon). 😳 At this point, Andô's artwork is so sloppy even the comedic looking faces like at 1:06 suffer or look overtly cartoony (not in a good way, and look at how Chibi Moon and Venus have Peanuts hands, and later on Andô would draw them with Raggedy Ann and Andy hands), which is disappointing as he could do a good job with comedic faces in the first three seasons, and I always felt he at least did a good job drawing Ami (the only one who his cherub-esque face style worked for, say what you will but Andô always did do a good job at least for Ami even if not so much for the others), although at 1:10, while her face is decent, her right pinkie finger is broken, and her left forearm looks dislocated (plus the obvious reused cels/stock footage at 1:33 clearly stands out like a sore thumb). 😬 I also would have had Ami actually transform into Mercury and maybe freeze the monster's mouth shut instead of wasting all that paper, ink, paint and celluloid for that unfunny joke at 2:37 (Mars speaks for all of us there, seriously), and yikes, not only are Jupiter's left ring and pinkie fingers are broken as well, Mars' star on her choker turned into a circle, the stripe on her sailor collar doesn't even match looking like her brooch and front bow would fall off...Andô half-assed this one clearly, as that drawing of Ami at 2:34 actually damn good.
