See also ruclips.net/video/tNUinDw4LQg/видео.html for sedan/saloon bumper removal. Side/wheel arch detachment is identical for estate model however rear/underside is different (clips under lights, no bolts under boot floor or side panels.

Thanks for this video. I have walked into the open charger door and ended up breaking it 😭. Am I right to assume the only way to replace is to remove the bumper?

I think you might have to get an entire new bumper. The outer door hinge is plastic welded to the bumper. I'm not sure they are separate parts. Check with Mercedes but could be expensive 😞

@@m1k3yrh0de5 Ouch 😭. I checked with Mercedes and the replacement part is £72! Looks like im going to have to a super glue job on it!!! Thanks for the info

Hi, my charge door is stuck shut and I can hear the lock unlock and lock. Would it still be the sensor that's causing it. Also the car thinks that it's plugged in when it's not and causes me to switch ignition on and off a few times before it decides to start up

Trimming the rubber boot on the peg for the door might help with the lock and unlock. (See about 2-3 minutes into the video. I cut last bit off mine and it helped a lot). However 'car thinks it's plugged in when not', will be a separate issue, unrelated to the bumper door flap. The charger socket is separate component behind the bumper.

Great video, appreciate it. Do you happen to know the part number for the pin on the hatch that goes into the actuator? Just bought the car and it’s missing. Thank you in advance!

Hey just wondering how long did the process take of taking the bumper off; attaching the new part and putting the bumper back on?

Hi Drew, At a guess removing bumper 1-2 hours, attaching part, 10 minutes, reinstalling, 1 hour.
