Not sure if you'll see this being an older video but I recommend getting a Dango Designs Gripper Mount for your helmet. It gives you a nice point of view and doesn't show the ground when you stand up. It will see what your head see's. You put it on the chin of your helmet and it's basically a big clamp so you can take it off and put it on your son's helmets to get a point of view of their riding too. I and my father use them and work wonderfully and had no problems with them. If you would like to see a video of one in action, there are a few videos on my channel (not trying to advertise). Also, just like to say I have just recently discovered your channel and love it.

Love your friends new bike, I have the same 250 but a 2002. I prefer your friends plastics colour. The white is nice. It's one on the bets bikes I've owned. I have the 280 big bore kit in mine and it night and day. Amazing power for the weight, very manoeuvre able . Very quick in trails. Xr 400 is a big power upgrade yet the weight makes it much harder to handle. I have to suggest a few mods for the xr. Aftermarket air filter. Remove snorkel from air box. Line with pantie hose. Take off header and grind down welds to have better flow. A slip on. Accommodate mods with adjusting height on needle or mild re jet. Will open this beast up like night and day. Very very very reliable bike.

  • @rjtumble

You might want to throw in a short-ish tow strap/rope into your bag. You can then use one of the other bikes to pull yourself out of a situation like that. A little easier than having to heave it up the way you had to anyway. Plus, if you're stuck, you can have one guy tow another in a desperate situation (depending on the terrain).

Not at all a waist of 7 minutes. I personally wan't to get into off road motorcycling. I like watching you and your family and friends dirt biking. I got ideas on what kind and brands of protective gear to buy our children and wife and I. Types of motorcycles too was interesting. I don't actually want a hugely powerful engine as a beginner. Just adequate reliable power and sound structure and drive train. Thank you and your sponsors as well. Very much enjoyable.

Hey Wranglerstar, I hate being "Mr. Saftey" but picking up the bike the way you did can be dangerous. I understand in that circumstance that you might have been able to pick up the bike the "proper" way. If you look up "proper way to pick up a motorcycle" you will see how to pick up a bike with little to no struggle. I have been on motorcycles and dirt bikes most of my life and have used that way a handful of times and it really is a lot easier way. Sorry to be picky but I do not want you to get hurt. As always, amazing video and look forward to seeing more dirt bike videos now that the weather is nice.

No channel is lean on suggestions when people is the audience so here is mine. I love the content, always a favorite in my playlist, even this one was enjoyable - mostly. It's just that when you're riding we're only viewing your handlebars and gauges, not where you're going (I think this happened another time also). I don't know for sure but I think I am not alone. But then doesn't everyone think their opinion is shared by majority ;-)

Teach jack to be a stand up rider. I wish I would have started that earlier. Also, for switch backs learn early to stand on the right handers and use the clutch as the rear brake. It's very hard for me to do. Its hard to balance around them. Something to work on if you tackle them frequently. You want to dab, but to do so you have to take your foot off the rear brake to do so.
