Creating Parking Stalls in Almost No Time using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking

In today’s installment well look at a really quick way to create parking lot striping using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking. The trick involves using the Parallel Row feature in a unique way. After launching the command, simply select the edge of pavement geometry (rather than an existing parking row) to instantly create parking stalls that are parallel to that entity. In the recording I’ll demonstrate how to create 100+ parking stalls that follow the geometry of a proposed lot using only a couple clicks of the mouse.

Hey Jeff, Great video as always.
Was wondering if you can change the "reference" point for parking stall widths or if you found a potential workaround. In the first example where you placed parking stalls on the inside of the circle, wouldnt the entrance of the parking stall technically be lower than the design standard? since the parking side lines would be converging.
Love this tool and hoping to add it to the arsenal!

Autodesk Vehicle Tracking is included in the AEC Collection. I believe it can also be purchased using Flex tokens. Check with the Autodesk Partner where you obtained your Civil 3D for more information.
