Omg thank you so much for these tips! I absolutely love the warm feeling that you mention. Such things often go overlooked when making decisions I often struggle to wash my stuff right away, I’m often very short on time after cooking or straight up exhausted. That’s the main reason I don’t use wood utensils, the other things I can just let soak Any advice for what to do with a utensil that’s full of dried up food?
You're welcome. I am glad to know that this was informative for you. The warmth of the wood seems to out weigh the maintenance (for me). If I have a wooden utensil that has food dried on, I will rinse and wash it with some soap, lay it in the sink and come back to it five minutes later. These few minutes usually will help take off the dried food. If it is worse than that, I suggest using the heating method with the baking soda and lemon process that I discuss in the video, That seems to clean any wood well.
Utensils play a big part of your daily functions in the kitchen. Which one is your favorite?
