Your music got me through a dark and trouble period in my life in the early 2000s. I'm glad you're still putting music out there. Your voice is like a siren calling me from the deep.
At the risk of sounding like a Millennial - this song is everything. The depth of such a love so strong we would endure any pain again just to feel it once more seems mad to those who haven't felt it before. I used to be one of those people - I fully disagreed with the phrase "Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Surely, I thought, if you hadn't experienced it, you wouldn't know what you were missing and were better off. Nope. Once you have tasted the sweet ecstasy of that all-consuming love, you would tear yourself apart to have it again, even if the one you loved hurt you. Artists throughout the ages have lived these truths and been driven mad. This, Voltaire, is the song among all of your work that has touched me most deeply. It is everything.
Voltaire, I have said this so many times on your Facebook page so sorry for being a broken record.... However, if you're doing a European/UK tour then please consider a Belfast or Dublin (or anywhere in Ireland/Northern Ireland) date. The last time you went to Dublin I was too young to see you and it was such a tragedy in my life. I would absolutely love to see you live. Can't wait for the new album, keep being awesome. Much love my friend!
This album is beautiful and one of your best pieces of work, I am disgusted it has taken me so long to sit down and give it a full listen. Will be grabbing a physical copy soon. Honestly blown away by some of these tracks. (standing ovation) Mike x
I recommended a few of your songs to a friend of mine who thinks Goths are psychos. He is absolutely in love with your music, should I present him the thruth.
Why are you even asking? You know the answer is yes. Do you really expect Voltaire to come down into these comments and go "No, man, let him believe bigoted misinformation to protect his ego."
Omg!! I really love this song, reading along with the lyrics I got to really understand what this song is talking about, I wish someone would make a music video to this song, cause I can definitely envision this!
This is my favorite song from this album. This entire album has been a blast, thank you for gracing my ears once again. I'll be listening to these on repeat for the next thousand years, thank you. Really though, thank you. Listening to your songs throughout the years have been seriously helpful. You really have this way of just, pulling people out of the ground. Good luck with your next album, and I hope to see you live in the future.
So for some reason it took me a while until I actually listen to the new album, but wow. It's been playing none stop on my phone for the past 3 weeks amd this one song is just too amazing. I absolutely love the guitar and the voice, there is just sometime that makes you travel in a instant. I love it!
I am so in love with this song! I was smitten after hearing the tiny clip of it on the album preview video, and to hear the full thing is fabulous! I love the build from "I open the door", and the first line of the chorus is sung so beautifully, I've rewound it so many times. It's a stunning piece of work.
I'm loving the guitar in this one. I've been listening to the album at work for a week and whenever it plays in I can't help but balance left and right. Thanks and congrats again for a brilliant and quite refreshing album!
Yeay another video love the music you know when i have any special occasion going on this music shall play love it btw this music brings me so much joy to me even since your like an awsome person never give up on life pal!!🕷🕷🕷
This song is as beautiful as what i assume a firestorm on venus looks like, the instrumentals are top notch as always, and i still have to figure out an interpretation on the lyrics, so far all i can think of is a guy in space seeing a firestorm on venus, but ill comd up with something soon, maybe
hhhhhh this is such an awesome song i couldn’t not dance to it,,,,,, i got slightly in trouble for jumping around too loudly cus it’s past midnight but i just couldn’t help myself hhhhhhh i wanna listen again but i Can’t because i’ll jump and get yelled at again,,,,,
Any chance of making the original The Oddz version of this available somewhere? There was something about that one that's sort of missing from this version and it was one of my favourite songs which got me into listening to you all those years ago when you still had the side project going. I tried finding it on the myspace for The Oddz as that was where I found it originally, but they've migrated their servers so anything added more than 3 years ago (which it obviously was) is now gone.
Did you write all the lyrics and the music for this album? I think it's awesome but i don't see any credits in your description. Not trying to be a bitch I'm just curious. Thanks
Well it sounds good. I was hoping for it to have a point to it, but I guess not. I must have missed something, cause I don't get it. It still sounds good though.

Exquisitely, achingly beautiful. Another one I am looking forward to hearing about on Song Meanings and Origins.
This one is absolutely spectacular! Sci-fi feel for sure mixed with romance. Kind of like Human Nature.
This was my favorite song on the album, I always feel faint whenever I listen to it

Major Tom called. He likes it.
Tell him to get back in contact with Ground Control. They've been trying to contact him for a while now
I love this! Not many musicians are willing to put their music on youtube for free. I hope you get the recognition you deserve!
Favorite song off the album .

This is my favorite track on this album. It's so poignant. Loved to see you last night, can't wait for your next Boston-area show.
You and Gerard Way should do a duet 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Such a great song! My favorite on the new album so far! I hope I have a chance to say so in person come Anime Midwest this July!

Not sure why, but the part where she is stepping out of the hatch, hits me somewhere deep inside
Greetings, Vault Hunter! You're a long ways away from Pandora my friend. What brings you to these parts?
Gorgeous 💜💜💜💜
♥🌹 Great song.
Awaiting report...I said it's beautiful...
I like this
I'll be surprised if Voltaire does a metal album
I'm not a fan of metal but Voltaire could probably make me like it, I mean he did it with country
Does Raised by Bats not count?
Have you heard my song Leaves in the Stream that I sang with the lead singer of Arch Enemy? It's on my album Heart~Shaped Wound. It's metal-ish. ; )
I'm sure I can hear hints of 'Innocent' in this, especially the opening notes.
Actually, the opening notes remind me of the ones in "Stuck With You".
So hauntingly beautiful...I'm so in love with this song. v v
Ahahaha, for the first 4 seconds I thought it was Dancing Queen by Abba!
This sounds like the intro of some space adventure show

Does anyone know who's on the guitar for this track?
Francis Morin
@@TheLairofVoltaire thank you
Voltaire do you have the acoustic version of this uploaded anywhere?
Wait nope today THIS is my favourite (insert five hundred hearts here)
If you ever put one of your albums on Vinyl pick this one!

Yes, I did
Hi
♡
Are you selling this album signed?
Unfortunately only at shows for the time being.
I feel like at least 100 of these views are me

But okay, that's an interesting twist, I don't believe you have ever done something like that before. This sounds awesome
Well it sounds good.
I was hoping for it to have a point to it, but I guess not.
I must have missed something, cause I don't get it.
It still sounds good though.
