Some great advice here. This is basically the same way I warm up on the driving range before a round of golf; find out how my swing is working for me today, and file those notes away for the round. You can't get too mad if you try something your round that you didn't do well on the range beforehand. And in golf I am playing the course, not the other players. If I can get out of my own way mentally, everything will be fine.
