Good question and no I didn't. I think LED is becoming quite affordable these days and I would definitely consider going that route the next time I need to repair these light ballasts.

No specific connections for the blue and red wires just make sure they are blue to blue and red to red.
I couldn't see which ballast wire to which wire...
