I didn't know it was fake until I looked for the group that made it, and the owner didn't have an admin badge. I immediately knew it was a scam.

Whoever made the fake game is gonna get their account perma IP banned off of Roblox because impersonating them can lead to instant termination
Actually, it is an offense if they're impersonating with the intent to deceive. However, if they are simply creating a game about a Roblox event and clearly indicate that it is a fan-made project, then it’s not the same as impersonation. As long as they don't hide the fact that their project is unofficial and just a fan creation, it should not lead to account termination.

Simbuilder, the creator of the popular experience, Vehicle Simulator, was detained at the Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) 2023 event in San Francisco. The incident occurred on September 19, 2023, and led to his termination from the Roblox platform.
Key details of the incident:
1. Simbuilder attempted to force his way into RDC despite apparently not being invited.
2. This led to a confrontation with police, during which Simbuilder allegedly fought with the officers.
3. Upon searching his car, police found a concealed firearm and illegal ammunition, which are prohibited in California.
4. A video surfaced showing Simbuilder, wearing a blue suit and cowboy hat, being taken away by police and resisting arrest.
This event has effectively marked the end of Vehicle Simulator, as Simbuilder's ban means he no longer has access to the game, and it's unclear if other developers can continue working on it.

Yeah, this copycat basically just stole the assets and claimed it as their own while pretending to be Roblox. "community watch along" or whatever isn't against the rules, but using Roblox in your title or game description inaccurately is against the rules and can lead to account termination.

To clarify, using assets is okay as long as you're not intending to confuse players. I believe the devs of this copycat game are deliberately farming premium visits.
