ITALY | ROME - Five Things To Do in Piazza Navona

Piazza Navona is one of our favorite squares in the world. It is famous for its Baroque art and architecture. It was built on the site of an ancient Roman stadium, the Domitian Stadium. Three majestic fountains line the piazza. It is amazing that the sculptures are in good condition after hundreds of years. Sometimes we pass by these fountains and not appreciating that it has survived for hundreds of years and still look good until today. So please stop and savor the place that has it's roots back since 89 AD.
The artistic and cultural heritage of Rome is on show here. It is also surrounded by cafes, restaurants, street performers and artists.
