I am Japanese. This SC430 is an early model of the Lexus brand and has been made with great care. It was priced at $80,000 at the time, has a V8 engine, and a sturdy chassis, so as long as you maintain it properly, it's a car you can drive for another 20 years. In Japan, enthusiasts are buying it back, and the price has gone up since then. Please take good care of it.
My 2002 SC is in Egyptian Sand with dark wood interior and 42 k on it is a gem. While I don’t drive it often I’ve turned down several offers to buy . It’s really a great car and the interior still looks new.
Im looking now for my first one! I have always loved these, and nows my turn to own one! Ive got quite a difficult hunt on! Im hoping I too will be in attendance next year! Thanks for sharing!
The car was my sisters along with a Porsche, repairs on that were through the roof. I sold that but the SC was a keeper. They’re not that expensive now , but I will tell you it has a timing belt that has to be replaced. The belt on min was 20 years old and showed no signs of wear and the good news is it had a non interference engine🌈
Don't be jealous! I know you meant in a nice way ! Just save up ur Money! And you can Get the same or better! The one customer 120.000 out the door! These cars are timeless!
Some really nice examples. I really liked the light brown interior with dark wood the best; second would be the facelift ecru with the 'cherry' wood. The aubergine paint is probably my favourite exterior colour. Silver is one of those colours that can make for both a boring and an exceptional look. With most of these being very well looked after, the silver cars actually look very classy, and a couple are exceptional. I was also somewhat surprised that some of the aftermarket wheels really suited and even lifted the overall look of the cars. Anyway, it seems like a really nice little club.
I’d love an Sc430 , lovely cars! I’ve got a bit of an unhealthy opposition with Rx400h at the moment……… you can pick them up so cheap! Another cracking video bud 👍
I've never seen so many SC430's in one place! LOL. Can't get used to the steering wheel/driver's seat on the right thought. LOL! Would have loved to have been there.
Wow! I really love that green and candy apple red colors!I I just purchased a Silver on Black 2005 with 68K original miles. It's in almost perfect condition. No doubt a future collectible. I'll be the 3rd owner. It's 100% factor stock. I've been waiting for the dealer to put on a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport's A/S 4 XL that are on order, so I haven't even driven it yet outside of the test drive 2 weeks ago with crappy tires. I'd like to keep it stock for investment reasons, but I'm very tempted to modify the air intake and exhaust (mufflers only) so it can breathe better, but I'm hesitant. If I keep it for the next 20 years, I'd like to say "nothing has been changed from the factory " for nostalgia... any thoughts? I don't know as much as i'd like to mechanically about this car outside of chatter on the internet...is there anything I should look out for to avoid any problems in the future except the usual maintenance? Any solid advice would be greatly appreciated. It's an American car. Thank's for posting. I love these cars! It's been a dream come true to finally own one! Thanks again! Cheers!
The biggest thing I can say is to make sure the belt is changed every 10 years / 100k miles. Also I have issues with 02 sensors and the coolant tank leaking. Best advice is to keep on top of maintenance and look after it.
When you get close to 90.000 miles change the timing belt and take it in for a passenger air bag on recalled for that year it's replaced free from dealer ,and get the cabin air filter change , and just enjoy it 😉! It's a beautiful Car ! You won't be sorry you brought it ! It's Money in the bank if you take care it! It's heading in the collectable line up ! Great choice keep only the dealer service in it! Get the oil change to! Keep ride My Friend!
Oh! Don't change the exhaust leave it like it's keep in mind it looks like a sports car ,but it's a luxury cruiser ! Meaning Sunday! Car with a likable style! And very Classy ! Money Bag! Just take care of it and you will still be shining in the futher to come! As having a asset!
Nice looking car. Is the seat height any higher than a Merc SLK? I'm thinking of swapping ours for a SC430 as wife finds it a little too low to unfold her legs in/out + stepping out so close to the tarmac in our Merc, + also niggles like reaching out to pay for toll when on the continent. Also any tips for making the SC a little more nimble as I understand it tends to wallow a bit around bends. Thx for posting.
Oh yes the SC430 has more seat adjustment over the SLK and Audi TT. You don't sit as low to the ground. You can change the springs but I have taken mine around the NC500 and never found it being an issue. It is a big comfy cruiser.
Love those SC430 from Europe, they all have side markers, rear bumper markers and sensors which North America version dont. What are those sensors for?? Parking assist??
Oh yes! When I pass by in Mine !! Everyone winds up with a neck brace ! Looking and turning head at Mind ! I drive Slow that they can break the necks Looking at something nice with Class!
It's! Beautiful Great Car ! No doubt about it! When you see it on the road! Make Sure you keep ur Neck Brace ! Handy! Lol 😆! It's old and Nice to look at The Syle is Timeless!
This is fantastic to see! All those SC430 cars in 1 place!!

Amazing event, will it be done again in the future?
Yeah, next summer (2022)
Where is this show and when is the next one
It should be next summer (2024) are you part of any SC 430 groups on Facebook or the Lexus Forum?
Aubergine one is awesome, I want it so bad! Looks like a Pebble Beach Edition.
it does look good
great turnout, love the lexus sc430
Love those SC430 from Europe, they all have side markers, rear bumper markers and sensors which North America version dont. What are those sensors for?? Parking assist??
The sensors just beep at you when you reverse. I think the NA market doesnt get folding mirrors or a switchblade key?
@@RevLexus no folding mirrors nor switchblade key either. Saw some mirrors have light sold on eBay.
Yes! It takes away from the car my opinion!
I liked your wild hair in the Rx350 hidden features 👍. Getting old and respectable sucks 🤣
Thanks Jimmy, that was lockdown/ lack of hair dressers hairstyle :P
ls400 wheel is how small in inch ?
is it 15"?
Beautiful cars...WIND FILTER???????????//
thanks
No pebble beach edition?
isnt that an american version
@@RevLexus it might be exclusive idk
Not in RHD.
Thanks for the video! Was just wondering, how many of those cars are driven on daily basis?
I would guess 50%, I drive mine daily
I only drive mine once in a while Too many cars and not enough garage space . I put mine on a trickle charger over the winter
Looks good
how come I didn’t see a single saddle brown interior here? is mine just rare or what?
There was one I believe :)
Saddle brown for the win!
All of them beautiful
How?
How? what are you questioning?
