Shannon Sullivan This is a great video! Helps a lot to decide which one to get! I think I prefer the horizontal layout, because as you said it looks more professional. I use my planner for everything, my master's degree, my fitness routine, my work schedule, etc. It is a tool to combine a life on the everyday basis, but also a great way to plan on the long term with setting goals for the year to come. I am a dedicated student going into my senior year of college; I love and need to stay organized in order to succeed. Between my rigorous courses, extracurriculars, and fitness goals, I am pretty busy, and am always trying to find the best planner to keep me organized. Because I am a student, my budget is low, and I could not afford this Erein Condren Life Planner on my own, but it is my DREAM planner! I love the vertical layout because I could dedicate each box to a different subject, or perhaps one for school, one for my Green Club activities, and one for my workout routine. I love both the Rose Gold and the traditional color pallets, and know that I would order a customizable cover for whichever one I got.
Unfortunately I don't have any social media accounts, and can't follow you there, but I'm an avid subscriber of yours on RUclips, and watch every video you make the day you post it! I love what you are doing on the channel by the way :)

Emmali16250 I am not sure, I may wrong about that but I think that the color scheme does not have anything to do with the planner being horizontal or vertical but more if it is the silver or the rose gold one. So if you take the vertical layout in silver, you will get the color scheme of the horizontal in this video. I am not 100% sure about that though!
I like the vertical design for college because I can separate morning, day, and night classes if that helps!!!
I believe that it's you could order the planner and while customizing it you could could vertical or horizontal
I LOVE the look of these planners. I am currently a nursing student, with plenty of actives. My current planner is my life, and I am in need of a new one. I feel lost without one!! I love the Vertical layout! :)

OMG I love these planners! I prefer the vertical one, but both are amazing. I love the rose gold coil!!! I've never found a planner that works the way I need it to, so I've always had to use multiple! My husband runs a business and I am a stay at home mom so I am always doing my husbands paperwork and scheduling out his days. This would help me so much! I am someone who needs to write everything out and see it rather than just putting things in electronically!
I'm so excited for the new 2015-2016 Life Planner. I'm a busy mom and dedicated paramedic and my Erin Condren Life Planner helps me keep it all together. Trying to balance all of the long hours on an ambulance with the life that continues in my own household is a chore without organization and planning. The Life Planner has been a saving grace for me. I've never owned a planner that was by Erin Condren before. I've never even seen one of those in person! I really like that vertical planner and I like the color scheme in that vertical planner, too! I'm a wife and I could picture myself using that planner for my meals, my chores in my home, and, possibly, my appointments and my phone calls. I'm excited that I have a chance to get a planner by Erin Condren!

The vertical layout for sure! I would use it like I do mine now, to keep track of appointment's, kids medicine, daily tasks, things to do, and little memories. I LOVE planning. Thank you for this chance!
I personally prefer the horizontal layout because it allows you to space your day however you like! Plus the watercolors look beautiful! I would use the planner for a multitude of things! I am going to be a freshman in college this year and will really need to keep track of things! From sorority recruitment to Pre-Med craziness I definitely need as much organization as possible!

I love both honestly. I've never owned an Erin condren life planner until I started watching all the plan with me videos. And let me say I'm getting very addicted to watching them and I hope I could own one so that I can plan my school and work schedule and have fun decorating it and making it my own :)
I love all the changes they have put into this planner! I can't decide between the horizontal or the vertical. Both are beautiful!! I'm a stay at home mom of two young babies, and this will help me plan all of the things in their schedules, my schedule in direct sales, and my husbands busy schedule.
I prefer the vertical layout because it has more space for organizing my day with homework, studying , appointments, etc! I would use it everyday and customize it with different stickers to make it look cute! Thank you for this amazing giveaway!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This will my my second year with EC and I'm totally stuck on the verticall! It's made such a difference. I'm a mom and nurse and I use my planner to tack my work, my life, my kids.... I track budget, etsy shops, kids school, I journal, organize church functions, organize household functions and decorate in my planner.,, it's my life! Im excited to have another year with EC! I love the bright and punchy colours of the vertical layout. It's so vibrant and it made me smile.
I have a very hectic schedule at work so a planners help me stay organised and stay on track of my targets, deadlines and meetings. Outlook is boring but this planner would make my day everyday ;)
I'm current training for my first half marathon so have a training so would use the planner to log my progress and stick with my training regime. I would also use it to log my weight training progress and use it as a food diary (5 weeks vegan, yay!).
I would also use it to plan my photography project (a hobby of mine). Contacts, locations, set up, ideas etc.
In April 2016 I plan on visiting the U.S. (Nashville, New Orleans and LA) so it's quite a big trip for me! From using it to budget, prompts to book flights and accommodation, arrange travel insurance and to use it as a travel journal would be sweet!
And after all of all of this I will have a beautiful reminder and keepsake of all the things I set out to do, the things I achieved and dreams that came true.
There's nothing nicer then a beautiful planner to use, apps are nice and all but I prefer something more tangible(I guess I'm an 'old fashioned kind of gal' ;) ).
I like the horizontal design. I would use the planner for everyday life. Plan meals, grocery list, appointments, fitness goals; things like that. I love your videos!

I'm SO excited about the horizontal layout!! I'm a university student and am moving away this fall for my last two years of my nutrition degree. I can't wait to use this planner for keeping track of cleaning, bills, and groceries in my first apartment. The horizontal design is perfect for planning school assignments, homework, text readings and exams. Also, the new sticker book is such a great way to add Erin Condren flare to your own decorating preferences. Personalizing my planners are my favourite way for me to stay motivated to use them so I'll definitely need something like this to keep me organized during my first year on my own!
I love love love the rose gold planner with the vertical layout. I have reached a point in my life where I realized the only way to become the adult I want to be is be more organized. I've always been a messy person but I am turning a new leaf in my life and the new Life Planner would be great tool to not only help me with school but also future career goals, healthy eating goals, and budgeting goals.

I love the knew horizontal layout! It really does look more professional. I am a teacher so I use planners to show all the meetings I have or any special events happening that day. Also to make a rough sketch of what my daily lessons look like for each subject that day. The horizontal layout will work so much better for that! THE ROSE GOLD IS SOOOOO PRETTY! LOVE IT!
My favorite is the horizontal layout! I use my planner mostly for school. I'm in difficult classes and being able to write down homework, tests, and quizzes along with extracurricular activities really helps me get my life together! :)
I am so in love with the vertical layout! Honestly, I use my planner to fit in my whole day: morning for work, day for errands and fitness, evening for my FlyLady schedule! It works perfectly for me!

I've seen a few now and yours has been the only one I've watched to the end, and am looking at your other videos too. So glad I've come across your channel. As far as the new EC planners - WOW! so loving them too. I find the vertical layout the most flexible for my needs. As the mum (Australian spelling) of a child with food allergies, meal planning takes a lot of thought and effort, and now there's more room to add each meal at the bottom of the pages. Yay! I also run two businesses, so you can probably guess how this planner would be so functional for me. It would be so awesome if I was able to win one of these amazing planners even though I'm so far away. Thank you for making the possibility of that possible with your fabulous giveaway. I love the traditional Vertical Layout it looks so nice with the rosegold design. I would use it for literally everything! I'm so obsessed with planning my day, make to do lists for uni work and house work, food prep and shopping lists, keeping track of dates and birthdays.. I'm basically lost without a good planner in my everyday life.
I love the rose gold horizontal layout. It is as you said, very professional. I just graduated college and am doing a lot of job interviews and working two jobs and just got into a home. I would totally use that for all my budgeting and work schedule to keep my life less chaotic! I would love to be a winner!

I would love the rose gold vertical layout! As an incoming exchange student headed to college I would use it to organize all of the last minute appointments, college expenses and classes, work hours, and extracurriculars; and maybe even schedule in the occasional visit home.
I love the vertical layout as my brain works in a chronological orderly way. This would help to organize my crazy, busy life as a wife, mom, employee and full time student. I'm a planner and this is the only way to ensure everything gets done!!

I graduated from IIN two years ago and I would use my planner to organize my life at home - I'm about to become a first time mama and looking to finally kick start my coaching business once I get settled in with baby and before I go back to work!

This video was so fun to watch, I loved it. The NEW planners are hard to choose from, I think I would like the Vertical planner, I love the colors. I would use this planner to keep me organized at home with the house for the budget, bills, cleaning and laundry, I am in need of a planner to keep me going day-to-day, so I would also use this planner to keep my many doctor appointments and health classes in line, don't want to miss any. I would LOVE the horizontal layout!!! I'm really trying to get out of debt and I would use the planner to help me with that! I would use it to help me keep track of all of my bills and spending. This would help show me areas where I need to cut back on.

I'm a speech therapist, a mommy of two (one of whom has special needs, so a lot to keep track of) and an overall planning junkie so I think this planner would help keep therapy plans, blog ideas, kiddos appointments, family plans and all things life in good and working order! I love the vertical layout with the rosegold! I started using a planner at a very young age and don't think I could ever live without one! It keeps me on task, reminds me of birthdays, anniversaries and special events. I write down everything and can't be without my planner. Last year was the first year I used an Erin Condren planner and love it and I love decorating it too! Thanks for the comparison video and your honest opinion!

My current planner is horizontal, but I love the bright colors of the vertical one. I use my current planner to record everything. Work hours, weight, exercises, meal prep, blog posts, you name it.
I love love the horizontal layout because it allows you to write items more in depth. I would definitely use it for school and for life planning.

I adored the vertical layout! It's very bright, fun, all while being sleek and clean. I would utilize the planner to keep track of every aspect of my life! i am a new member of the erin condren lifeplanner gang. i have watched soooo many reviews and yours is by far the best. i love the way you compare the vertical and horizontal layout. when i ordered my planner, i didnt realize that the different layouts had different designs. once i stumbled accross your review i had to cancel my order bc i realized i loved the colors and designs of the vertical layout vs. the horizontal layout (which is what i had previously ordered). Anyway, thank you for this great review.
I think I personally like the vertical planner. It seems like it would help keep me organized! I'm starting grad school in the fall as well as getting my first apartment so having a planner to keep track of all these new changes in my life would be so helpful!! Love your videos, you're so genuine!

I'm still a HUGE fan of the vertical layout. I'm a counselor, so I use the little stickers with code numbers for each of my clients and it works out really well, and also i'm going to use it since i'm going back to school in the fall. I'm obsessed with EC to say the least! You are lucky to have received both layouts, so you could really appreciate the different styles in person!

You know what? I've never been too interested in the Erin Condren planners because they aren't really my style, but that horizontal layout one is gorgeous. I could totally see myself using that!
After taking a semester off from college the vertical life planner would help me get back into the swing of things so I don't have to stress about staying organized while I have a billion other things on my plate! :)
I love the vertical planner!! I struggle with anxiety and would love to use the planner to help organize my days and things I need to do so that I don't feel as stressed.
I've been using Erin Condren planners for years now, and I have been always hoping there would be a horizontal layout.. And the day is finally here! :) So, clearly my obvious choice would be the horizonal layout.
For me, a 21 year old girl at the University of Alabama, my planner is used for just about everything! I keep up with my classes, make sure I am up to date with my sorority events, and I keep track of my exercise routines and grocery lists. I use it to budget allowances and pay checks as well. It comes in handy for my work, as I work in the Athletic Communications department. Not only do I have weekly office hours, I work all sporting events as well. Needless to say, I'm busy! This new life planner, it will keep me on track with my busy schedule in a fun and creative way!
I think I prefer the horizontal layout! I am in my first year of marriage and working two jobs plus babysitting and helping out with our busy and ever growing families; it's nice to have a place to keep it all organized and scheduled- I am a major planner. :) My current planner is overly small to keep up with all of my life right now haha. I would love the vertical layout! I'm heading off to university in September and I would use it to keep track of working, all my classes and homework. I can get very overwhelmed very easily and keeping some sort of calendar is a great way for me to keep everything manageable!

The horizontal planner is really nice. I would use it to keep a track of everything with my daughter. Appointments, girl scouts, school events, etc.
