  • Finally got into hard-body-ing the vs410 pro! Decided to use the 4 door.., bobbed the bed. I wanted to keep it low and large tire; so I cut the wheel-wells wide open. Reinforced the hood ; hopefully keeping it from buckling in harsh falls. Also decided to try some proline trenchers. Seem to work amazing.., foams are a little too soft. Didn’t do an interior (yet?) to keep cog lower.
Truck is doing great ; could use better shocks or at least heavier oil. Mamba and 3 brothers; not giving the best slow crawl control. Not sure if trading the 3 brothers for my revolver would be a good trade? Low weight less control vs lighter and more control?
Front shocks are in original location, rears are layed down a little more. Tried moving fronts down but just 2 much weight on this truck/ chassis.
Recently got a great deal on this vanquish clear anodized vs410 straight axle. Not something I really should have bought.., but wanted another vanquish build since selling the old rickety skeleton.
Repainted the body (outside) and detailed a few areas. Just thought I’d play around for a bit. Possibly hardbody eventually. Added a driver; but he’s a little too heavy.
Mamba esc and 3 brothers rc
Power hd 50kg servo.., maybe switch out for the Holmes 800.
Weakest point I believe is the tires. Sticky enough when washed but didn’t grabbed on the rocks .., think any other choice would have been better. Had previously grabbed a set of Patagonia’s; way too big.
Might add a little weight to the front, light weight driver and servo (should get a e-bec tho).
Already switched the tires out for a set of pitbull mad beasts.
