- Today, we delve deep into the classic Lincoln Continental's triumphant return! The reintroduction of the Continental, a stalwart in the luxury sedan realm, has sent shockwaves throughout the automotive world. This famous vehicle, which dates back to the 1940s, is poised to redefine opulence on four wheels once more.
The Continental isn't only staring in the rearview mirror in today's changing automotive world. With Tesla's Model S setting the standard in the electric luxury market and traditional behemoths like Mercedes-Benz's S-Class and BMW's 7 Series consistently raising the bar, the Continental has its work cut out for it. Not to mention the domestic competitors, with Chrysler's Imperial making headlines and Cadillac's Lyriq demonstrating what true electric luxury can be.
With this decision, Ford CEO Jim Farley has executed a masterstroke, signalling not just the revival of a classic, but also the brand's vision for the future. This combination of antique elegance and cutting-edge technology could be the formula for rivalry and delighting both traditionalists and new-age shoppers. This Continental promises to be a bridge between the past and the future, with rumours of hybrid powertrains and hints of AI-driven experiences.
So join us as we investigate what the return of the Lincoln Continental means for the car industry, the possible influence on competitors, and why this could be the most anticipated automotive event of the decade. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more in-depth looks at the world of automobiles.
it was stupid to give up sedan segment becasue a lot of people like myself find suv not comfortable and only drive sedans.
And SUVs basically all look the same with few exceptions. I'm glad Honda hasn't given up sedans, but I miss coupes most of all.
Another sedan preference here, sure hope Ford gets serious and builds a great Lincoln sedan!!
I haven’t found a single SUV that rides as well as a luxury car. I just bought a sedan and thought I’d be disappointed, but it feels very comfortable and has a very low chance of experiencing a rollover.
Yes sedans are a smart decision because they are generally more fuel efficient than SUVs.
Electric is a horrible decision in general, people don’t realize how much power we will need to energize millions of electric cars, not to mention the batteries are far more toxic than any gasoline vehicle.
If you want to be green with the world we need to build more hydrogen or even solar powered vehicles. But for now hybrids, even plug in are a lot more intelligent of an option than full electric.
For people like me who would love a sedan but, being 6’4” i need hatchbacks unfortunately
There's only a few smooth riding SUVs and crossovers and I prefer sedans too. Much less expensive and always a better ride and more power.
The dumbest thing ever , was US car industry, dropping most passenger cars !
The foreign brands sure haven't!
Ford MUST return sedans.
The new Continental must be outstanding, and absolutely beautiful!
The last continental was great IMO, and should not have left.
That’s because the Japanese took lunch all American manufacturer’s lunch 😂
Also, it’s gotta be full-size with a V8 and RWD, in order to be as “American” as possible.
@@anonymous3738 Yes , no Mercedes, BMW wannabe . If people I want one , it's a real one ; not a US Copy.
Classic look is important.
@@danteardenz2670 Speaking of classic looks, the Chrysler Imperial concept from 2006 was a notable example. It was pretty much the American equivalent of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Both were full-size with RWD and rear coach doors. While the Phantom has a V12 whereas the Imperial had a V8, the latter engine in the latter vehicle does make it more “American” and also has the added (and more important) benefit of lower fuel consumption. In fact, Chrysler could start producing the Imperial as an “American Rolls-Royce” as their only gasoline-powered model, since they’re planning to go all-electric by 2028 and all those EVs would create an offset to meet emissions regulations with the V8. Some types of vehicles are worth producing at least one model.
The only thing shocking is that people keep falling for this clickbait. There is no new Continental. You’ve got unlimited access to official websites and yet nobody noticed there is not one mention, not even as a concept, on the Lincoln website about a new Continental.
What a bizarre video. The Lincoln described was introduced in 2017 and discontinued in 2020.
Bring it on a new Continental. Yes , yes , yes ….
Please Ford : No front wheel drive. All wheel or rear wheel drive. And bring back the coach door as an option.
$110,000, sure.
They make it seem like the Lincoln C has been gone for ages when in fact, it has only been 3 years (2020 was last year in production). If they do start the line again, then I hope Cadillac will bring back the CT6. This was the best Cadillac in years.
😊
I was with you until you said bring back the ct-6 lol
ct-6 is not a name it's a cold alphanumeric designation that has no legacy and elicits no emotion, they need to bring back something closer to the Fleetwood with very luxury oriented models and more European themed models, possibly even with some distinct bodywork.
And of course a coupe version like a new eldorado (that could be once again co-produced with a new Riviera for cost savings and unseen parts sharing) would put it back in the game with the large European and Asian coupes, a market that America completely owned for decades but completely surrendered in a stupid but stereotypical chase of a short-term trend that jeopardizes long-term stability.
Families are smaller than ever and only getting smaller, many people would enjoy a large comfortable easy to drive coupe in their middle-aged and golden years, not a look-alike troop Carrier.
I would consider the purchase of a new Riviera.
@@Jack_StaffordAmen ..very well said 🙏 CADILLAC SHOULD BE CADILLAC and not a foreign alphabet soup naming brand
CT6 is being made, today, in China for the Chinese market. No importing to USA. The 2024 CT6 refresh is stunning. Inspired by the Escala concept.
Be would be cool and bring back Taurus SHO and Gran Torino. Take the Maverick name off the truck and rename it Rancho. Then bring back the Maverick as a Saden small 1.
If this is another EV no way would I consider this, It will have to be better than a Lexus.
It will probably have the Aviator's hybrid powertrain as an option or something even more powerful. The Aviator hybrid has the same 3.0 twin-turbo v6 (400hp & 415lb-ft) that all Aviators have plus the electric motor which steps it up to 494hp & 630lb-ft. That would be a pretty fun powertrain in a sedan like the Continental. It would be even more fun in the MKZ but it doesn't sound like they're bringing that back. Also, I think they said it will be their most powerful engine yet? So they should be stepping things up a notch
O.K. boomer.
Don’t get twisted over whether it’s an EV or not. There is no new Continental. Ford makes a Continental for the Chinese market on the last cancelled Taurus wheelbase. They have no plans to import it the US. Whoever put this video out cobbled it together snippets from a ton of other videos. Even used Doug de Murro’s voice out of context talking about a completely different car.
I drive a 2017 Lincoln Continental. I’m ready to upgrade to this new Continental model‼️❤️ It 👍🏽
I’m surprised a real Lincoln owner doesn’t know this video is clickbait. There is no new Continental. This concept car has got be six years old by now. Like clockwork people keep making videos recycling it as “the big reveal!” of the ‘22, ‘23, ‘24 Continental. But go to the official Lincoln website and see if you can find any mention of it. Not one.
@@itsabovemenow1016
Lincoln will make this Continental or a similar one some day in the not too distant future.!!! I am and have been a Client of ADVANTAGE FORD - LINCOLN in Duarte, CA for a few decades. They advise these new Continentals and other models will be on the market soon.!!! 👍🏽 Believe whatever you want to, but I’ll take it directly from the manufacturer! Ford is the absolute best Manufacturer in all of History!!! In the 1940’s, FORD built the B-24 Liberator Bomber that helped win the Second World War. THE FORD B-24 Plant Produced one Liberty every HOUR! And every single one of those Bombers flew off to win the War for the ALLIES. Nobody does that shit except for the GREAT FORD/LINCOLN MOTOR COMPANY ….BAM‼️ Love me my LINCOLN and FORD’s❤️
How is it I’m thinking of buying one
Looks almost beautiful to me ! I like the idea of revisiting the "pillow top" seat design. My only real complaint will always be size. I wish the grace and elegance of the full size 70s and 80s era would come back. Nothing says says luxury to me more than a car with a long hood I can see in front of me that makes an announcement before I arrive.
I want a land yacht!
Suicide doors would.have made this a hit.
It needs to be Rear wheel drive, and have the suicide doors. I think it would be a great car.
They made 80 coach door models in 2019 and 150 in 2020.
Yes sir. They were sold before they ever saw a showroom.@@frederickboulwareiv9790
You might want to let Lincoln in on this news because there's no mention of it on their website so they don't seem to have any plans at all.
If FORD want to sell cars like the Lincoln, they have to move the assembly plants back to the United States from Mexico.
They should also bring the Lincoln Zephyr (Chinese market only model) to the US market. I hear it is actually really nice and it looks pretty good
Nothing from
ChYYYna is
good 🤢🤮
I won't buy any vehicle made in China.
The Zephyr is just the Ford Fusion, right? Or is it the Five Hundred?
@@j2skillfulIt’s the Ford Mondeo & Taurus now. Which used to be Mondeo & Fusion
Everything you Sell in America, must be Built in America ..as in The United States
I will believe it when I see it advertised on TV or see it at a Lincoln dealership, and hopefully don't drop dead when you see the selling price. I will keep my classic Lincoln town car.
Also make a Stretch Lincoln as a Presidential Limo - it was once, and should be again -
They made one in 2017-2021 versions
Hopefully they can get them out faster then my FORD MAVERICK that has been on order for over a year and still no sign of a production date.
Ford should bring back an updated reliable gas powered 4 cyl. Escort too. They would not be able to build them fast enough if they did.
Unless a release date is announced, all these stories are just fantasy.
I enjoy my 2017 Lincoln Continental, it's a great ride that is fuel efficient and has the horsepower to play! I've looked around at SUVs (just checking them out), and I've not found one that has the backseat and leg room the Continental has. Very satisfied with this car.
The new Lincoln Nautilus has more now
I find SUVS distasteful & Crossovers ridiculous, if you don't need them for a utility, or work , big family etc !
To eliminate autos is horrible & taken the fun out of the car market! .The foreign brands will not abandon passenger cars & that's excellent!
How’s the maintenance
@@pimpdizzle305 My 2017 has 60,000 miles and I've done the regular oil changes and had all the fluids recently changed out. Had a "high end" brakes installed all the way around for $1,100. Since my vehicles are not driven much, the Lincoln can drain a battery. I've just installed the second battery in five years. Any issues reported with the car have been immediately taken care of by the dealer. In all my years of purchasing vehicles, I found the Lincoln dealer to be the best.
Hopefully the Lincoln Continental and Lincoln Town Car comeback, real large and luxury cars are what luxury and comfort are about.
Good for Ford. I'm sick of SUV's they all look the same to me.
Now, Mr. Farley, keep up with your bold marketing plan and give the world a Lincoln convertible!
I hope Ford has learned a good lesson with there disastrous high tech f150 lightning disaster .
How about offering something simple and functional yet fun to drive without all the useless high tech gadgets so that the most people could afford it.
Farley will bankrupt Ford eventually after he has exhausted all his dumb ideas.
Bring back the Ford Taurus too (gasoline version, NOT EV).
Please don't tease me like this... I seriously hope this will happen. I'd love nothing more than a Continental in my garage the next time I buy a car. But if Ford is going to do this, they better get it right.
Say it with me, Ford.... REAR... WHEEL... DRIVE!!
This is OLD news. Lincoln already brought this car back but it's now gone!
If they don't fix their reliability/quality problems, this complicated car will be a failure.
Unfortunately I have to hate to be a wet blanket about all of this but all of this clickbait that you're hearing is just that... Online clickbait
I believe strongly that there is and yet market for sedan two coupes and I do believe that the coupe and sedan Market should never go away. And absolutely these models need to respond to today's market such as electric propulsion, autonomous driving, Hi-Tech conveniences, and industry Dynamics. BUT.... Do the big-3 truly have the stomach and the guts to bring back a niche vehicle Market at a time when we are having strikes due to the outrageous amounts of money that CEOs are making as opposed to assembly line workers; not to mention the rising competition not only from other OEM manufacturers but newcomers as well as increased competition from Evie newcomers both foreign and domestic particularly the future rise of Chinese vehicles entering the United States market in the near future.if any of this is true and naively speaking I hope that it is.... It would be a significant and correct move( marketing wise)for the big-3 at least in terms of short-term plans... AKA like Joe Biden joining the strikers and picket line....BRING BACK A NICHE MARKET FOR AMERICAN LUXURY ENTHUSIAST AND FAMILY SEDANS AND COUPES USING TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY OF EEVEE'S / HYBRIDS AND ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOURCES... MAKE THE AMERICAN CAR INDUSTRY GREAT AGAIN...
But alas ....all of this is just a pipe dream unfortunately Ford CEO Jim Harley it's not like GM's Harley Earl of the 1950s (we're talking about the wrong Harley here) he's going to play it safe he's afraid of losing market share he's afraid of perhaps making bad corporate decisions or mistakes he's afraid of losing his stock share for Ford and most importantly of all he's afraid of losing his job he's going to continue to kick the can of conformity if SUVs and crossovers instead of giving the American consumers what they really truly want at least some of them a really cool sedan or coupe that they're going to like and love.😢
I couldn't have said it better myself.
Unfortunately - this site is just a clickbait site and most if not all of its content is simply not true. THey get you to read the messages that monetizes the site - but they make it all up
What is this? They just discontinued it two years ago.
Looks way better than a Lexus !!
I will never understand why American luxury cars adopted those rounded muffin-type European cars as models for the American consumer. The most beautiful cars were the Lincoln Continental Mark Vs and VIs, especially the black and grey Givenchy model. These new Continentals, in spite of size and modernization, look like souped-up Volkswagons - in a more elegant way. And I swear by my 1997 black on black gold package Lincoln Presidential Town Car. I am so sorry I ever traded in my Givenchy Mark; but I still hate myself for trading in my Town Car for this newer Lincoln. Please return to the computerized dashboards which show everything in large numerals, with no need to trace needles for information.
Lincoln needs a sports luxury car to compete.
Baby Jane Hudson approves as I do as well
JUST START BUILDING THE TAURUS AGAIN AND I'LL BE HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.
I call bull. They tried it already and it failed.
I love the name Lincoln Continental it's the best luxury it made the Town Car to I would get one because I love Lincoln
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada my funeral home owns a Lincoln towncar hearse which is very rare thanks for sharing this video with me
A hybrid or PHEV Continental would be a wiser path than an EV. That would avoid the hassle of recharging on long trips while providing both power and improved mileage.
Would love to see a USA design and manufactured Continental but my bet is that Ford will bring over the Chinese Lincoln and pass it off for a continental.
I have a 2017 Lincoln continental all wheel drive issues with the window and door handles not opening other than that great car
Will it come to Australia
This is the way, if America wants to retain and gain more customers by leveraging their legacies with deserving cars and nameplates , not silly euro babble like
ct-6, which is not a name , it's a cold alphanumeric designation that has no legacy and elicits no emotion.
They need to bring back something closer to a modern Fleetwood line, with very luxury oriented models and also more European themed trims (Seville), possibly even with some distinct bodywork.

Bam 👍🏼
American car companies should be doing better creating other car Styles because European and Asians car companies are taking over know the question is what happen to those truly awesome american cars like Chevrolet Ford Pontiac and other truly awesome 1930 and 1940 and 1950 and 1960 and 1970 cars that we're built to last a Century beautiful beautiful Styles and good engines and good mechanic
Always have been my favorite car of choice Ford/Lincoln. Don't get me wrong, I love automobiles period. Imports are nice and expensive, but usually reliable. Come on Ford and Lincoln show us what you got!
No EV boondoggle
That Lincoln is GORGEOUS!!!! I'd better start saving now!
If there is 20 recalls in the first year ford will consider it a success!
"FORD-Fixed Or Repaired Daily"-But...Have to be fair....have had several over the years and they have been good & reliable vehicles.
Ford used to build great cars. I got one of the first CVs from St. Thomas, ON in 1995. fantastic! the next Merc was good but not great. WHY? am now in a '07 Camry. may be buried in it. can Ford repeat? not optimistic. not even for cars of other Big 3s. WHY?
This video Makes absolutely NO SENSE!!!
Clearly look at the market!!!
Thankfully, Ford is ditching the EV crap. Getting back to dinosaur power is the way to go.
Do the MARK VIII SERIES FIRST..then the 4 door hybrid.
Yeah yeah yeah. Be sure too reinvent a more ROUND tire that rolls better than the perfected square too round tire.
But go ahead, by ALL MEANS TOO GREATNESS, jump onto the already burdened coat tails of origional innovated tried true THINKERS!
Ford cut their own throat when they stopped making the Lincoln Town Car, the Ford Crown Victoria and their best car of all the Mercury Grand Marquis!! Bring them back!!! BIG! And definitely not electric!! 😮
I think that most of America is sick of only choosing between a truck or an SUV, or an impractical sports coupe. However. it is really too bad that Cadillac decided to abandon this segment and sell its newer, larger CT6 over in a communist country only. It is also equally as sad that FoMoCo did not reflect back on the Lincoln Continental's timeless, ageless, simple-elegance-in-design philosophy and incorporate that into this generic "aero" jelly bean design that has no real connection to Lincoln Continental's past elegance. It just looks exactly like the former 2020 model from the same stamping dies. Sad as well that it will not come with real American V8 power. I could not care any less that it's over-teched V6 will most likely produce over 325 HP. It is still a LUXURY sedan that should have a rumbling, Mustang-derived, 500+ HP, V8 under that hood. No excuses. Besides, Continental's are square and sharply angular, not round like this abomination. One would expect some of the iconic 1961 style to echo here.
If they make the mistake with this one and go electric, they just wasted billions of dollars because no one will spend $100,000.00+ for a 200-mile range car in cold weather that you cannot even run the heater in and takes 3 hours to charge.
Beautiful car. Please bring back the Lincoln MKZ, I LOVE my Lincoln MKZ it is a 2009 with 72,000 miles. I don't ever want an electric car, sorry I may be old and set in my ways but I and telling you right now I will never buy one.
Way too much blah blah and not substance.
Just marketing.
Don't kill the child.
I have the 2018 reserve....only thing I would get rid of it for would be the 2020 reserve.
How about making them WIDER.. with Bench Seats, so people can have some Room, and comfort. Not All old things are bad . And Stop using Cheap, Gray Plastic for the interiors . Tighten them up, and put some Quality into your product. We've had enough over-priced American Junk. Reform yourselves.
Wrong people in the car business. Only old old old men want this. No one else. This is DOA. Build what people want good reliable comfortable SUV's.
Continental needs a 5.0 V8 and bring back the Mark Series Coupe
Ford or BMW, Merc, Audi, Lexus…
Definitely not Ford😀😀
Hopefully they make a car without electrical, transmission and engine that doesn’t consistently breakdown. That’s there problem.
There are only 2 brands I trust for American. That's Lincoln and Buick. Luxurious and reliable. I refuse to buy a luxury car that will spend it's time at the mechanic sorry Mercedes and BMW.
I am sick of all kind SUVs and german cars. Jaguar is almost dead, Maseratti is lost in space, AM Taraf is to expensive... .Bring that Lincoln to Europe and I am buying right now.
Sadly my 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will probably be the last Ford product that I bought. My son wanted a sedan and of course Ford and Lincoln did not offer a sedan. My son wound up gettign a 2020 Hyundai Sonata Limited and I am really impressed with all the technology that the Sonata has. My Lincoln is getting up in mieage and sadly I am not even considering Lincoln at all, I am not into SUV's. Looks like I might go with Lexus
Oh dear, the once great Ford has succumbed to European styling, ( shame about the chassis), [ god knows the engine], designed to failure, why? because it is a USA Ford. RIP ✝
You failed when you replaced the classic Towncar with that Ugly hatchback!
? What planet is this narrator from?? He speaks as if Ford just caught lightning in a bottle. The Big 3 in order to not totally make us go all foreign market on our American highways. Now they see diversity is the key in my opinion. I have to give it to the Japanese and Korean car makers, they don't believe coupes and sedans will give the kiss of death to their brands! Lincoln has a very stylish SUV, now why not a very stylish sedan! Just please don't do a Cadillac where the new flagship is very futuristic yet Caddy in the front, "but what the f#%k in the back"!!
Lincoln lost the Chinese market that's were the Lincoln Continental was being sold after production stopped in 2020.
GOOD NEWS, but his video is saying the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER..
If they want to actually sell sedans, they need to make it ride like a lincoln. My wife has a 2020 Lincoln MKZ and it rides like a Mustang GT. We BOTH hate the Horrible stiff ride. You hit a pothole and you swear to God your fillings are going to come out of your teeth. A luxury car is supposed to be floatie and you're not supposed to feel the bumps. They're also going to have to go back to air suspension, something Ford has abandoned in the last decade. Steal has a horrible ride when compared to air. Also they should go back to the pillow top tufted seats of the 70s and 80s. The seats today are so stiff rigid and uncomfortable
Bella ed elegante la Continental ma brutti i cerchioni
Stop Right There! This hype is misleading, if not an outright lie. The LC is not coming back. The Fusion and Focus are dead in the USA and will remain that way. This particular You Tube Channel should be taken down. 👎🏻
These AI generated videos are taking over replacing content that's actually interesting and informative. Super annoying and misleading.
We should have a change in government that actually would do their job. Buy, stop and corruption because that's what killed industry's for-profit.
About Time! AND,....Please don't "electrify" it!
Hy about electrification is a stupid idea. And one that if you dig yourself down that rabbit hole, it's gonna be hard to come back out of it. We keep with the traditional modes of transportation. Till we come up with new fuels. New technologies that won't basically run on water, creating hydrogen, that's coming.
I wouldn't waste. My money on an electric car. I'm just saying it's a bad idea and and corrupt. People have their ways of trying to manipulate people into doing things they want. Hence, the reason why people are driving electric vehicles. Cause they believe it's environmentally friendly. Now that's a joke. A running joke. If you want to help the country, you want to help the environment. Stop cutting trees down in your yard. Or to develop stubitcondos or complexesays. That doesn't really benefit anybody, but the people that built it.. Stop cutting trees, that is the one thing that is helping the carbon admissions reducing.
The carbon admissions. But yet we have idiots out here. That want to go in old neighborhoods and build their remonstracities and cut down tryes when when it's more of a benefit to have the trees there. Then it isn't you're wasting more water on the grass? Because there's no shade to keep it cool. And it doesn't dry out the area or Paul splitting GI wonder why everywhere else is flooding now it is I bet you a lot has to do with over development.
In ridiculous fashion.
And it only accommodates a few. It doesn't accommodate anybody else. So what is the purpof cutting down trees? When you have vacant lots, old buildings that can be renovated that can be rebuilt. Restored or knocked down and rebuilt. Let's cut down trees so we can build this monstrosity. If anybody's hurting the environment, it's the people that are cutting down the trees for-profit.
So keep cutting down the trees and wonder why it's hot.
Because you don't have the shade to keep your cool anymore. And you're worried about the environment. But nothing about the trees that actually keeps the area cool. It's funny how that works logic.
Reasoning. Overdevelopment in certain areas and densely populated areas is not a logical outcome. With the amount of people that would be in nice communities, you would think things would be cheaper. And things should be affordable. Somebody somebody isn't really good at math. Obviously, when it comes to things that matter, especially with the economy. With all the people around, everything should be affordable. And there should be no excuse. Because it is made in America that it is expensive. I don't know what idiot fell for that. I hope you didn't because all this money. The past 3040 years should have made things more affordable. In a realistic world, not this. Is embarrassing way that this country is being ran. We have greedy people, and we have people that are making laws to protect the companies that are strangling this very country. And the people in it today and now their pet project is electrificatdon't think this doesn't have a purpose. They're using something fsomething from nothing. By using suggestions or suggestive manipulation. If you believe you're doing something good for the environment, it makes you sleep good at night. Just know this, you have been lighter and more waste than one. Do your research? Nothing we are doing right now with our combustion engines. And in the future, has anything to do with the climate change.. And will never have anything to do with the climate change. But but keep cutting down things that we absolutely need. That is a benefit, not a hindrance. Changing those things would be great. Stopping those things from happening would be great.
But I have a bridge to sell you for a dollar. I have a deed in my backpack if you're interested. That's what I think about this climate change. And the idiots that are up in arms about it. And really don't have anything to prove other than it's getting hot. Are you familiar with radio waves, microwaves? And all the radio frequencies that are out here that can be manipulated. But let's not look at that because that might be telling on some people. Oh here that's right the government the ones that you Bought this dumb ass idea of climate change, hook, line and sinker. Electric cars no thank you. Alternative means of transportation that doesn't involve retuling and destroying the infrastructure. A whole lot of jobs would be better off without the selected cars, why? Because we already have that infrastructure in place, all we need to do is change the feeling, and it's sustainable, and the things that you really should be concerned with arvolcanoes, you know, the real climate changers. That are active, curwait. Yeah, those things that are dangerous.
That's what can change the climate.
Not notions or manipulation. From other people that want to control everything I say don't give them the satisfaction. Don't buy these electric cars impossibly destroy our future. With these electric cars more toxic, the
❤😮😊 Lincoln is a sweet car and nice ride to ride in. It’s so smooth I rode in my friends Lincoln and we were cruising at 7580 and don’t even feel like it.
The Lincoln grille is just a poor imitation of the one of Jaguar F-Type. The 4-star Lincolon Logo looks just 'clipped' on the ungly grille net. Licoln should have employed an Italian 'haute couture' car body maker to obtain a more elegant solutiion.
What the hell are you even talking about, the Lincoln Continental has been available since 2017-2020, They act like it's been gone since the '60s...
Now they should bring back The Taurus, which is sold overseas and make it affordable.
Electric cars dominate the road? I see very few EV's in Texas, gas vehicles and diesel trucks mostly. The new Lincoln Continental should be gasoline only.
I don't think Ford will bring back the sedan. The Continental didn't sell that well the last time out. If Ford should bring back a Lincoln, I believe it should be a bit smaller. Fit in between the Continental and the MKZ. The same with the Ford Taurus. Ford is loosing out on Police sedans going to Dodge. With Dodge going total electric with sedans, Dodge will loose with future police sedans.
So, nobody is going to have a rebaged Ford when they can have a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, or a Jaguar.
I don’t know why you keep showing this Lincoln already did the continental they stop producing it I believe in 20 or 21. The last thing we did was at the coach doors to it so we go out on a bang sold great. if you check the Lincoln website, there are no plans to bring back the continental if they do bring back the Continental we are not gonna see it in the United States. It may be brought back for China or Japan but we’re not seeing it here and the one you’re showing is the one that was already here in the United States. I do not understand why US car companies dropped all cars because they can still sell them overseas and have been Toyota Honda Lexus all still make cars here in the US so do not understand why we can’t build a car. And every time a model comes in an EV it’s a car and they bring it out in an SUV as well. Not sure where you’re getting your information from but as far as I have heard, Lincoln is not planning on bringing back the continental
Can you get rid of the "whoosh!" sound effect when you change pictures? Very annoying, in my opinion. Made me click away.
Let's see what the dealer premium fee is. I looked at a f-10..... Premium was the base sale price doubling the cost of the truck. I walked
This is the time for Salantis to bring back an oldie but goodie Chrysler Cordoba . 2door Luxury ride Modernized .
Hopefully (like some of the Lincoln SUV's) it is not assembled and made in China.
The automotive side of the big 3 made a huge mistake 3 years ago getting rid of the car side of the business. I said it was a mistake 3 years ago. The Continental that is being pushed for 2023/2024 is the one everyone is seeing. It’s said to be wowing the industry. I’m not sure why. I mentioned this in a previous post. This Continental is the same one from 2020. I know because I looked at it. It’s seriously overpriced. I don’t recall the base price. I recall the price being around $65K to $100K for the Special Edition with the Suicide Door’s as they were called. They have massaging seats for Driver & Passenger. Some included Panoramic Moonroof. The problem was is it’s way overpriced. It already has all the bells & whistle options that this person said it didn’t have. They definitely had them. Also, the Continental replaced the MKS Lincoln model. Lincoln’s only focus was to be on their SUV, Pickup, Mustang & the Van Line Lineup. I have a 2018 Lincoln MKZ AWD Reserve. It has 1 huge major flaw & that is the battery already had to be replaced. It’s only too last for 3 year’s. It’s being blamed on the security system is struggling to keep up with the cars battery. If they would have replaced the battery when I asked them to it wouldn’t be an issue.
the way ford is building vehicles, it will be 50k overpriced & be in the repair shop every other week.& you get 30 free recalls with your purchase.
Lincoln always was a luxury vehicle. Not every one wants or needs an SUV or CUV. So Lincoln will bring out a hybrid or total electric vehicle that average people will never be able to afford.
Great idea yet the price will be in the stratosphere.
i'm confused, don't they already have Continental that was released a few years back?
The Toyota Crown or any number of Lexus' drive better and last longer than anything currently coming out of europe or detroit.
Ans while there is lots of push by Gov'ts and those who want population controls it isclear people do not want all electric cars - not while they are so restrictive so bad for the environment and so impractical.
Here we go again...same old boring Lincoln which no one cares about, and most certainly won't buy.
they should do a retro design of the 78 Lincoln Mark V.....
The malaise era of automobiles now refers to the late 70s and early 80s. We need a synonym for malaise to refer to this era of non-descriptive SUVs.
Nobody is going to buy a Lincoln. Would of been very much smarter to badge it a Ford Taurus would of made way more money
