I seriously cannot get my head around the fact that people are taking this way too seriously. If you have watched previous videos of the class as well as specific people, you would know that it's called "banter"! They are actually friends.
What I think is funny is how Amber is so reserved when the cameras on but every now and then you see glimmerings of exactly just how crazy she is. I mean I think the two of these women are peas in a pod. I can't imagine what it's like when the two of them are romping about the city without a camera. This was a fun video.
I love LOVE that! Being a world class golden retriever...so often those beautiuful damn cats made me feel stupid, sad, pitiful. I'm 70 and they still can do it to me. Eva is precious and so honest, vulnerable, trying so hard in public and out here irl, we can see her becoming a real dancer! Doing so much better than we probably would. Tell Amber that she learned this before her bones hardened. It's harder for Eva and will take longer than a kid.
amber is genuinely such a good teacher, she explains it so well and really looks for solutions that work for you. Like yes she needed a second to get used to your feet LMAO but she really pays attention to what you do right and wrong
Amber has done this since she was little so her cartilage, ligaments, muscles, etc are built into these over extension of her feet and body. But for someone who’s already an adult to do this now is incredible. Keep on keeping on girly! You look great even if you have a bad foot. ❤
When Amber said “don’t hop” like up on pointe, I was thinking those are the little things you are missing from not training for years-that even little moves like that you must use the muscles in your feet and lower legs to releve, not hop.
It cannot be easy filming dancers at the school who have been on pointe for years and now starting from the beginning yourself. We all have different timelines, you'll get where you want to be❤
That's a lot for a first class! I teach pointe beginners and I see you run into the same challenges as my beginners. Don't compensate not getting entirely on the box with unstretched knees. Knees straight. You will get there! Don't break your shoes in too much.. your feet will get stronger if you work them. Your retiré was quite impressive for a first time and i loved the pics in the little photoshoot!
Eva looks so happy and giggly despite the pain, it's nice to see ❤ Also Amber's energy of "let me out but ok i'll help if I must" is extremely entertaining !
The sheer concentration on Eva's face is priceless. It's like that mighty brain of hers is willing her muscles to obey. She's gonna get there, no question.

@@zhaviyah84 wow it’s not dangerous? Do you know how tiny those bones and the feet are? They’re quite delicate so if you don’t have muscle support from years of strength training you could sprain or break something. It was painful for her to even stand on her toes for less than a minute.

@@herrahoohuu like 25 or 26, I think. And for that age, she’s in good shape. These teens and in some cases tweens, are just in amazing shape and training.
some tips that really helped me improve my arches and releve for pointe: practicing pushing my foot over in demi to a forced arch was helpful for improving height and flexibility. also try massaging your feet before going en pointe, and twisting your foot like youre ringing out a towel. i also would use a theraband to improve strenth and pull my pointed position further without hurting myself. also roll out your feet with a tennis ball or spiky ball. i see so much potential in you and you could be so good with pointe if you can manage to get in a tiny bit more practice and foot care.

i love the teacher personality
Eva is in good shape for someone her age but still struggles. It really makes you appreciate just how talented and hard working these young people are, that they can do this all with seeming ease. I hope she keeps working at it.
How old is she? "Good shape for someone her age" sounds like she's OLD😂
@@herrahoohuu like 25 or 26, I think. And for that age, she’s in good shape. These teens and in some cases tweens, are just in amazing shape and training.
@@herrahoohuushe’s 26
This is the best thing I have ever seen 😂 get it Eva!!!!
Ahh, memories of my first ever pointe lesson! It’s hard work but pretty satisfying once you start getting the hang of it so keep it up!
some tips that really helped me improve my arches and releve for pointe: practicing pushing my foot over in demi to a forced arch was helpful for improving height and flexibility. also try massaging your feet before going en pointe, and twisting your foot like youre ringing out a towel. i also would use a theraband to improve strenth and pull my pointed position further without hurting myself. also roll out your feet with a tennis ball or spiky ball. i see so much potential in you and you could be so good with pointe if you can manage to get in a tiny bit more practice and foot care.
I absolutely love your excitement. The big smile on your face says everything 🫶
I thinks it's obvious that you now have to do the "how fast can you put on your point shoe" challenge right?!
Amber took some great photos!👍💖
Eva is so cute!!
Great video. I love Amber's reactions, they are priceless. 😁
YESS YOU GO GIRL, IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!💜💜
You started so early and i agree that i would be like that too but worse😂 so impressive how good you are in just a small amount of time
