Hey Mr. Michigan !! I'd like to make a reservation for the Hursty Summer Vacation / Farm Work Coop Rental !! Maybe spend some labor capital of working on the farm for some restful fun by the swimming pond for a few days !! What do you think ?? Looks nice.
Amazon. The one I'm using is a Vivosun air pump, since I'm solar I couldn't get a monster one without it creating too much draw during a cloudy day, if you have a dedicated electric line, go for the biggest air pump you can get.
For natural cleaning and aerating use a few bales of 'oat straw' - works like magic and you'll never need anything else to keep a pond/small lake healthy. Check how it's done on the internet.
Hey thanks for watching! Can't stress enough the importance of an aerator that puts oxygen in the natural pool/swimming pond and moves the water on top to keep things from being stagnant. Just that alone will help keep the fish and biome happy and greatly reduce the chances of bacteria/parasites from taking over.
@@hurstyoutdoors thank you. My husband and I just bought a cattle farm and we are looking to create a pond/natural pool for the kids. So this was really interesting to watch!
You have created such a fun space for your family to enjoy!! Love it!!
Thanks!
So informative man. Pretty great. Pond party and BBQ at your house. Cheers man 🥂🍻
Thanks!

Hey Jeremy appreciate it! Have a good one!
How many acres does your pond have?
This is a half acre, wish it was more already!
It's awesome. My husband and I are in the process of buying 6 acres, and 4 acres are a pond. I definitely want it to look like yours.
Where did you get your aerator?

I'll check it out, thanks for the tip! 💪
How do you deal with any bacteria or parasites etc?
