I love this!!! I enjoyed seeing the different ways you worked with this tarot. I enjoyed hearing your interpretation of the cards. I enjoyed looking at the cards. I can’t wait to see what other decks you reintroduce us to!!!
I'm super late to the party but I'm still going to comment. I LOVE this series and I missed your tarot content so much! It's really nice and inspiring to see people actually using their decks and sharing their thoughts and feelings about the experience. Thank you for bring us along your process. Purple you!💜
Loved the format of this video and I’m so looking forward to the rest of this series…I’ve never seen a deck review that chronicles someone’s real time experiences working with the deck over several days and it was so interesting and informative!!
This was so fun to watch, you were sorely missed and I missed hearing your tarot insights and following your tarot journey! Thank you so much for making this!! Can't wait to see more in this series
I really enjoyed the video and looking forward to the next one! Such a great idea to spend some time with a deck and then reaching a decision that is the best at this point in time. 👏👏👏 As a viewer, it also provides an opportunity to see the deck in « action » (real spread). Thumbs up!
Such a great idea for a video and series! I love seeing a deck in action and hearing actual reviews after people have worked with a deck for a while. I can’t wait to watch you go through more of your decks in this way 💕
Great video, I really like this format! Apart from showing us the deck you also show different ways in which you work with tarot which I think is interesting 😊
New to your channel, this is my first view and I absolutely loved watching you work with this deck, it’s on my wish list and just moved up it 😆 Great format and mix of getting to know the deck, getting to know you and how you work with Tarot. Superb - thank you ❤️
What an incredible video. I absolutely LOVE these. The multiple day aspect gets me even more attached to your journey with figuring out your decisions on the deck and connects me to you even more! I love your editing style too. :)
I quite enjoyed the images in this deck. It is lovely and tells such great stories. What a great video moving through the days with tarot spreads! It's inspirational to see how people do readings and come up with different angles.
What a great idea this series is! 😀✨ I'm on a Tarot break myself, but your video was so much fun, it makes me want to play with my own cards again, haha I really appreciate your presence on youtube, Katey. I'm struggling with depression, but your videos are like a little spark of joy, they always lift my mood - thank you for that! 😊💚
Hello, thank you so much for your kind comment. I can’t tell you how much you just made my day. I’m sorry to hear of your struggles with depression, but I am glad to play a small role in bringing you some joy. All the best 😘
Thank you for this fantastic video! This is so timely because this deck has been on my wishlist for a couple of years and it was the orange borders that held me off. Now she has a borderless version that I plan to definitely get! Energy wise, it reminds me of my beloved Anna K. Tarot, which is one of my most used decks, but still different enough that I won’t feel I have two of the same deck. Can’t wait for the next one in this series!
Love this idea and format. I liked seeing how you got on with the deck over time. It can be up and down with a deck (which is the truth of how it can be.) Thank you for being you :)
That was wonderful. Thank you. It's great to see you back. As a little synchronous side-note. I chose two RWS decks to focus on for this lunar cycle. One of them is the Tarot de St. Croix. The other is the Fountain Tarot. They pair surprisingly well together. Also, the Hanged Man is my favorite card in the deck. It isn't my life path card, but my card of choice. That's why I subtitled my channel - The Hanged Man in the Moon (calling myself the High Priestess seemed to pretentious😉)
Loved the format .......Was lovely seeing you capture the moment on video where you realised how Tarot still connects in your life today. That tarot gives us all a different way to see and view things going on in our day to day life. I really enjoyed seeing you break down the cards and their meanings and how you embrace this deck to connect to it, to know it more personally. I really enjoyed your honesty and can't wait for you next tarot or oracle video to come. Thank you for taking the time to teach us what you know. Very interesting and informative.Terri
This was such a great video, felt like a deck review but far more in depth and thoughtful, and even though we didn't see all the cards, it's easy to find flip throughs and personally, I'm far more interested in the personality of the deck as you say, because I firmly believe every deck has a personality of it's own and sometimes it's one that just doesn't gel with your own. Also like that the structure of the video gave us time to form our own opinions and feelings towards the deck so that I don't feel automatically inclined to just agree with whatever your impression of the deck may be, not that agreeing is wrong, just that this way it gives the chance to think more critically before we decide to agree or disagree blindly
Really love this idea! I kinda want to steal it! I just had the idea yesterday to do sort of deeper dives with my decks with their guidebooks in a series format on my channel and honestly, there would be a decision at the end about whether or not I ultimately keep the deck(s), so this is exactly where I am right now too!! 💜
This is so relevant and I cannot wait for the rest of the series. This really resonated with me. I am new in my tarot journey. I discovered tarot at the tail end of 2020. I found tarot tube almost immediately and I got caught up in the buying frenzy. If a youtuber I loved suggested a deck, I would buy it. Now I have 13 decks and I have a couple of decks that I like but I don't love. I feel a sense of guilt after spending $$$ on Indy decks and so I've felt compelled to keep them. It helps to see you going through this process. Thank you for posting.
that was a really fun video. you always remind me that there are so many different ways to use and enjoy tarot. thanks so much. I'm really looking forward to more videos in this series :O)
Thank you! This was really fun! I too have this deck, and was prompted to pause the video and get it out to do the same reading for myself. I like this format and hope to see more of it :-D
Well, I’m totally biased because the Tarot de St Croix is one of my top favorites so I’m sorry you didn’t connect with it. Regarding the Hanged Man in this deck I’m always drawn to the star at the heart chakra and feel like that’s an important symbol on this card. This edition of this deck is no longer available. Lisa recently released a borderless much less orange version. I’m partial to this version though. Love seeing you back doing tarot videos. Love the idea behind this series!
I LOVE IT! 🎶❤🥰 I think I wanted something like this when I first came to tarot tube. I wanted an explanation of card meanings (interpretted) as well as seeing how they work together in a spread with an explanation. This was awesome. Surprised you opted to cull as the 9 card spread seemed good. Since I'm still "new-ish" can you explain or maybe do the next one on a "fizzy" deck? Just love this series, though. Can't wait.
Thanks, Shannon! And yes, the 9 card spread was good… And maybe if I didn’t want to reduce my tarot deck collection then I would’ve been happy keeping the Tarot de St Croix. But at the end of this challenge, I still wanted to be using some of my other decks more. It’s honestly not a thing I can point to, it’s just a subjective feeling! 😊
Ooh I so enjoyed this. I feel like this is a bit like the process I go through with many decks when they're new to me... try single card draws, a spread from the book if applicable, just play around.
It definitely has the ‘getting to know you’ vibes, that’s for sure. Especially with this deck - even though I’d had it on my shelf for ages I am still new to actually working with it!
I am thinking of getting into tarot, after many years of believing it to be a form of Satanism. This WAS my Christian upbringing talking. I have since gone on a very strange spiritual journey, starting with a yoga practice that I started during Covid lockdowns. I had never tried yoga either. I started it for back issues, but it turned into a spiritual practice that I am still practicing and loving....Throughout this journey, I have become more open to such spiritual practices that are different than what I have ever tried before, and tarot is one that I have at least been listening to. I even paid someone to do a spread for me. It was a confirmation of the tarot readings that I had already been listening to, online. I believe that I am being called to do alchemy (which I am still trying to understand), healing (which I am still trying to understand), and tarot (same). All that being said, I am glad that you did this series, because as a inquisitor, this allows me to see what all this entails and if this is the route I should go. Thanks for sharing this!
I am here 👏🏼 for👏🏼 this👏🏼 series!!
Thank you! 😘
I enjoyed watching how someone actually uses a deck. I like your process.

I absolutely love this series. Keep doing this, please.
I plan to!
Great video, I really like this format! Apart from showing us the deck you also show different ways in which you work with tarot which I think is interesting 😊
Thanks Kim! Glad you enjoyed it!
❤️ loved seeing how you use and explore a deck for a period of time.
New to your channel, this is my first view and I absolutely loved watching you work with this deck, it’s on my wish list and just moved up it 😆 Great format and mix of getting to know the deck, getting to know you and how you work with Tarot. Superb - thank you ❤️
This series is great. Thank you so much for sharing! Your views on tarot really help me to learn more!
💖 thanks Katey loved seeing you and everything you shared
Thanks so much Breanne 😊

I like this format! So glad to see you back on you tube, both dong tarot and reviewing books.
It’s good to be back!
Great idea! I really liked this and hope you keep it up!
Already working on #2! 😉

Great video. This is exactly the kind of in depth reviews of a deck in action I would love to see more of on RUclips. 👍
Thank you 😊

I did the same thing when I got into tarot and tarot tube! 😅 Thanks for your comment, I’m happy to hear you enjoyed!
Such a great idea with this series, I find it very interesting, please do more!
Already working on the second instalment!
Super enjoyed the format! Looking forward to the others 💛
I loved this Katey ❤

that was helpful. I've been wondering about that deck and I feel like I got a good look at it, different from just a walkthrough.
I like this, and the intention put into working with a deck. Before deciding whether or not to keep it.
Thanks Effie 😊
Loved this and looking forward to the next one ☺️
This deck is so beautiful, and vibrant! Love the excercises💟
Thanks Patti 😊

It’s a great deck, for sure! I honestly didn’t see the star on the Hanged Man until I read the LWB! A very thoughtful detail indeed. 😊
