Dispensers are made with a bow because when they were out, there was no crossbows and players adopted the recipe with a bow so changing it would just be confusing. not gonna lie, I just took the crafting recipe for stairs for granted, and now I can't unsee it... also my favorite is an oldie but a goodie. campfires burn you, but the stonecutter, with a saw blade strong enough to cut stone, does absolutely nothing to you
To make the fletcher table useful they should make use of it to craft tipped arrows the right way by placing arrows first in the crafter then placing string next to it in item slot then potion of choice in next to allow for the out put of tipped arrow of choice makes sense allowing the new way to craft tipped arrows
i think the skeletons train very hard like they’re the assassins or (slightly more effective) police of minecraft while pillagers are just people who like weapons and hurting people so they have no reason to train and if they have no weapon they’re like 🧍🏾♀️
The one thing that always got me was if you craft lets say a helmet, chestplate, leggings or boots with iron that’s essentially and obviously using ingots, (5 for helm, 8 for chest, 7 for leggings and 4 for boots) but the one thing that doesn’t make any sense is if you smelt either one of the armor pieces you get 1 iron nugget
It’s funny because a lot of these oddities exist because otherwise it wouldn’t be fun. Imagine how annoying it’d be to have to relight torches, or if you couldn’t jump up a block, or if you could get thrown out of minecarts.

The bow for dispensers thing is pretty straightforward; dispensers have been in the game pretty much as long as redstone itself, and bows have been in the game as long as skeletons have been using them. There needed to be some way to craft dispensers with what was already in the game, hence a bow. Later on, there's been no real reason to update the dispenser recipe because now players use them for a lot more than they used to, which would make changing the bow to a crossbow much more costly than it really warrants.
Knarfy tell minecraft that they removed fire files to maintain logic between frogs health but forgot to maintain logic between the main charecters health. Wow hands of for minecraft

the dispenser thing probably mostly has to do with the fact that dispensers predate crossbows by like...a lot, and changing the recipe would be bad because it's been like that since the block was added and it's not broken so it doesn't need to be fixed

not gonna lie, I just took the crafting recipe for stairs for granted, and now I can't unsee it... also my favorite is an oldie but a goodie. campfires burn you, but the stonecutter, with a saw blade strong enough to cut stone, does absolutely nothing to you

To make the fletcher table useful they should make use of it to craft tipped arrows the right way by placing arrows first in the crafter then placing string next to it in item slot then potion of choice in next to allow for the out put of tipped arrow of choice makes sense allowing the new way to craft tipped arrows
i think the skeletons train very hard like they’re the assassins or (slightly more effective) police of minecraft while pillagers are just people who like weapons and hurting people so they have no reason to train and if they have no weapon they’re like 🧍🏾♀️
The one thing that always got me was if you craft lets say a helmet, chestplate, leggings or boots with iron that’s essentially and obviously using ingots, (5 for helm, 8 for chest, 7 for leggings and 4 for boots) but the one thing that doesn’t make any sense is if you smelt either one of the armor pieces you get 1 iron nugget
Dispensers existed long, long before crossbows. Changing the recipe to be much more expensive would have upset a lot of people.
It’s funny because a lot of these oddities exist because otherwise it wouldn’t be fun. Imagine how annoying it’d be to have to relight torches, or if you couldn’t jump up a block, or if you could get thrown out of minecarts.

3:15 The recipe of the dispenser was added before the crossbow was even a thing, so at the time the dispenser became a thing, the best thing mojang had was bows.
P.S.: I'm not an english speaker (or even that good with the grammar), but I wanted to write a comment about that.
The bow for dispensers thing is pretty straightforward; dispensers have been in the game pretty much as long as redstone itself, and bows have been in the game as long as skeletons have been using them. There needed to be some way to craft dispensers with what was already in the game, hence a bow. Later on, there's been no real reason to update the dispenser recipe because now players use them for a lot more than they used to, which would make changing the bow to a crossbow much more costly than it really warrants.
Knarfy tell minecraft that they removed fire files to maintain logic between frogs health but forgot to maintain logic between the main charecters health. Wow hands of for minecraft
