Palmer took that on the chin,rolled with that weak punch and became a Grand Slam winner,with that helicopter rotor of his...as long as you believe in yourself then nothing will ever come your way. In Golf,I’ve learnt an invaluable lesson,never judge a golfer with a different swing from the conventional known swing,as long as you bring the club inside the ball and square at impact and the target line,man you can play this game and beat the living daylights outta us who think our swings are better. I’m rooting for Matthew Woolfe to keep winning and shut the haters down. And to GG,great respect to you as a Swing Coach,loved the fact that you didn’t change his swing that much but rather encouraged him to trust his unique swing ...this after a few tips from you. May Matthew dominate golf for the next 30years of his golfing life. ✌🏿🇿🇦
I think the whole ‘everyone was telling him he needed to change his swing’ theme is overblown by the media. I doubt anyone was telling him to change anything as he torched the college record books.

Jim Furyk, Miller Barber, Jim Thorpe, etc etc. Get over it. The BS doesnt matter. .. FULL STOP... talking about it. All these golfers with so called weird BS, dropped into their SLOT, in DS as Ben Hogan described in 5L That is all that matters. Proper weight shift, trail elbow to hip, LAG are all a result of dropping into the SLOT. The issue is how to define the SLOT. Its harder to find a proper definition of the SLOT, as definition of LAG.
