My passion is biking so I was thinking BP MS 150. I’m already attending the University of Houston but for graduate school in 4 years I was wanting to do something Ivy League.

I love how Julie mentioned that we have to reach out to our dream colleges individually. Most of us only dream of going to a certain college, but we need to realize that it takes action and 100% effort. You need to be willing to seek the attention you're craving from your dream college.

Is it fine if we reach out to the Admission officers after applying to ask them a few questions?

wow i never actually thought about reaching out to the actual administrators! that’s honestly such a great idea and i’m definitely going to keep that in mind before applying!

I’m worried that if we reach out to a college admissions officer that they’re just gonna say go ahead and go through the application process and you can find the requirements online. I’m sure they get thousands of people a day asking them these generic questions. Is there something more specific we can ask?

Excellent idea to reach out to the college admissions officer and getting the recommendation letter from the college professor that you interned with.

This was super informative, my takeaway was networking, we have to communicate with the people at our dream schools to create a chance to go there :)

So my dream school is Williams, and I want to do everything in my power to get accepted. But with Williams being a school that doesn't take applicants' "interest" in the school into account, would reaching out to Williams admissions officers do anything for me? Thank you!

I can help with this question! Well, I can tell you what my friend and fellow student did. She applied early admission to Williams, her one and only dream school. She was WAITLISTED! I remember she just kept writing them, letting them know when she did well on a test, any awards she won, just kept in touch until finally they admitted her. She is now a successful author.

Hi there, I think I can help you out with this. You can easily get the admission offices number and email id from the College's official website. You can call them to ask any doubts you have regarding the admission requirements of that particular college. For eg, if you wish to apply for financial aid, you can ask them whether they provide financial aid, how you can apply for it etc. Hope it helps!
