Johnrex Dacara you’re forgetting about Yul’s idol, which is essentially a super idol, which would’ve sent Nate home regardless, and then Jenny already didn’t trust Candice so I feel like she would have betrayed her to avoid rocks, and then the game ends the same way. Just without Yul's super duper idol

Penner really screwed everything. Had he voted for Yul, he would had to use the idol and therefore, he would not had hold that idol to the end. He went that far mostly because nobody wanted to vote against him risking to be eliminated when Yul plays the idol.. Thinking backwards, MAYBE this whole thing was the reason that lead Parvati to blindside Ozzy in Micronesia

Okay so make sure your team is voting for Yul but don't tell them anything about Yul's threat in order to not make anybody antzy. This will be 5 votes for Yul and 4 votes for Nate and zero vote for you. So now Yul gets votes out but Probst says "unless you have the hidden immunity idol, you will need to bring me your torch". Yul wips out his hidden immunity idol and Nate gets voted out. On the bright side, you just flushed the idol and don't lose the trust from your alliance. It's 4v4 battle at this point so anything can happen. Maybe this strategy wouldn't lead to Penner winning but it's alot more logical than what he actually did.

This and the Danielle vote out in Heros vs Villains shows Parvati's not just some gamebot and she does care about some of them. Parvati actually talked about this some of the newer school players are so detached that they vote off their main allies to look cool and then it comes back to bite them.

This vote off was so fucking boring. You knew after it was 4 votes Yul 3 votes Nate for sure 100 percent that Nate was going home because of Yul’s idol but you also knew that there were two voting alliances not 3 so when the first vote for Nate was seen, We almost knew that Nate was gone

For all the people trash talking Penner for flipping on Raro, do be aware that if say Yul does get Penner's vote and he has to play the idol, this would give Raro the advantage and most likely, the winner of Cook Islands would've been someone from Raro which due to the race dividing tribes trying to show diversity, I'm pretty sure a white winner would've looked horrible for the show and most likely, the show would be cancelled, this flip from Penner essentially saved Survivor and is by no means why Yul deserved to be on Winners At War
