An iconic blindside, Eliza's and Amy's reactions were priceless, and the fact Lean mentioned that she didn't really think she needed immunity, was icing on the cake 😂
This might actually be the single biggest Survivor blindside of all time. It changed EVERYTHING, and is one of the hugest shifts in power there has ever been on Survivor. This single vote blow up the ENTIRE alliance. After this point things were never going to be the same ever again. For those reasons, this my favorite Survivor blindside of all time. Ami, LeAnn, and Julie NEVER saw this coming.
i would argue that the Rotu-4 blindside in Marquesas was the biggest, but this is one of my favorites too cuz it was the first time i watched with investment; i was really rooting for Chris!
i would say, the Ozzy blindside in Fans vs Favorites then Russell in Redemption Island still stays on top of the standings as the best single Survivor blindside of all time....
This was one of the single biggest Turning Points in Survivor History. LeAnn looked so Flabbergasted when she was Blindsided, and the rest of us fans were so satisfied when she got Snuffed.
Leann wasn’t really that memorable, but I liked her a little bit. This blindside was absolutely epic, definitely a smart move by Chris, Twila, Scout, and Eliza.
Great blindside. No one saw it coming. You’d think after no one used the package of Chad and Chris that no one was gonna flip and we’d see 6 women in the end but no sir. We saw a flip and a shocking target went home.
Ami's thought process 1-0 Eliza "That's right, goodbye" 1:30 1-1 "Chris voted Leann?" 2-1 Eliza "Wait... Who did Eliza vote for?" 3-1 Eliza "How would Chris vote with us?" 3-2 Eliza "What??" 1:56 3-3 "... F*ck" 2:08 4-3 "Can I burn down the camp?" 2:32
damn, i wish they would post a version where they keep the camera on Ami the whole time. You definitely can see the wheels turning in her mind with just the clips they show of her here.
Vanuatu may not have been the best men vs women season (that title goes to amazon), but this vote singlehandedly changed the course of an otherwise predictable season.
Chris Daugherty has to be one of the most underrated and appreciated winners of Survivor ever. He was dead in the water against ridiculous odds and after this move, he pretty much ran the whole game and controlled every vote off to the finish line. Would have been great to see him play again in Winners at War.
The interesting thing about this was that Scout was the one to make this all happen, since she exposed that Twila was ditched by Ami and Le Ann in the final four pact for Julie, and was the first to suggest taking Le Ann out
One for the best tribal council's ever. Everyone facial expressions speak volumes. Jeff: "First vote, Eliza" Ami to Eliza: "Yes Eliza, it's you." Eliza to Ami, "Do I look scared?". Jeff: "We're tied." Julie: "What?"
*Leann’s Final Words:* “I am just floored. I just got done saying how it wasn't a life or death situation for me at today's challenge. I was fooled. I was fooled big time. I'd love to know who voted for me 'cause I am just freaking flabbergasted at how someone can just lie directly to your face. I feel like the world's biggest idiot.”
I love Ami giving Eliza a smug "sorry little one, you're going home" look and Eliza returning it with a "guess what, bitch, your best friend is going home" look
I love this Blindside Ami and Leann were controlling to much and definitely should not have told Scout that her and Twila won’t be brought to to four. Simply should have voted Chris here than Eliza and than the 3 of Ami ,Leann and Julie are top 3...
@@kharihammon9784 Twila yes, but Chris was the one who ratted out Scout and Twila, which I think was the catalyst for Leann spilling the pecking order. Plus he got Eliza to work with Scout and Twila, which by the way, was no small feat.
This is the first modern survivor tribal council. Even all the way back here we can see the roots if the big move blindside and reactions. The most interesting thing to me is that you can tell Sarge and Chad are not meant to be reacting, Chad is elbowing Sarge to try and stop him while lookong straight ahead and Sarge is trying his best to holr it in but can't. What makes this so odd is that they included this footage in the episode, It seems whole editing this season they realized that tribal council could take on this more bigger reaction based blindside and less somber feel, but they were still following the old rules of jurors not reacting at all while filining... The music here really doesnt even fit, they are still using the original sad "we are voting out ppor Sonja" music, whwre the newer big moves/blindside music would fit much better.
Actually it was Scout and Twila that pushed the other girls to vote for Eliza and the reason they were ok with it was because they felt bad for Chris’ fiancé and he worked harder around camp than Eliza did.
in Guatemala, season 11, there was an Idol you had to play before the votes were cast, which essentially meant a surprise second Immunity Necklace and my guess is that was cancelled after 1 season because it introduced the wrong kind of chaos at Tribal that they didn't want at the time, plus it got Bobby Jon out which I imagine wasn't loved by production because he was a returning players that was screwed you a twist. in Exile Island and Cook Islands, seasons 12 and 13, a second iteration of the Idol was in play which was pretty much the Tyler Perry Idol from back in Cagayan that was insanely overpowered and changed after Yul used it to win Cook Islands by flipping Jonathan Penner to his alliance of 4 at the Final 9 then cruised to the end with literally no risk because the last time it could be used was F4, and I should also mention Cook Islands was the season that introduced the Final Three concept instead of a Final Two so once Yul flipped Penner he was pretty much guaranteed a spot at the end. the Idol in its current form was introduced in Fiji, season 14, and they found a nice balance there because it forced people to guess and use it more strategically.

Eh I understand
Damn Scout is a real icon 😭
I wish Eliza went to Julie, LeAnn and Amy and flipped the vote one last time before tribal.

One of the best moments of this season. Love this blindside!
Jeff: Well, as the last vote was read, there were some very smug looks
Eliza: ☺️
Jeff: and other faces are absolutely shocked
Ami: 😕
Priceless 😂🤣😂
I love how Chad and Sarge are silently pulling for Chris
They were treated like trash by the women cliq and picked off pretty much for just being men, so of course they were pulling Chris.

That condescending look Amy gives Eliza before Jeff opens Leann's votes SENDS me everytime.
A blindside of epic proportions! It changed the entire game.
Leann wasn’t really that memorable, but I liked her a little bit. This blindside was absolutely epic, definitely a smart move by Chris, Twila, Scout, and Eliza.
Underrated blindside should be a top 10 blindside
I LOVE LEANN 💜💜💜💜💜

I greatly prefer Vanuatu to Amazon personally Vanuatu is top 10 for me while Amazon is barely top 25

This vote moved Vanuatu from being bottom tier to mid tier, because it allows for a pretty interesting end game
One of my fav end games ever in opinion
100%- it was getting really predictable, but man, when this happened, the end game was nothing short of amazing. Really underrated season.
Top 10 seasons
Just watched this for the first time, loved it so much had to come here and watch it again.
Queen Bee Ami was shocked with this one.

This is American History
I was jamming to some music, but took a random small break to watch this because I love it so much.

Whether it's Leann from Vanuatu,
Danielle from Heroes vs Villains,
or Kat from One World,
The Final 7 usually seems to be the Game Changing vote.
Or Alicia from All Stars while her getting voted out wasn't game changing Shi Ann winning immunity was

2:15-2:22 Sarge and Chad looked like Ernie and Bert
I thought chad looked like Captain Picard
My favorite blindside of all-time. Seeing Ami’s smug face turn sour is absolutely delicious.
No one mentions how beautiful Julie’s hair looks here. She’s got hair like a mermaid.
A Native American mermaid? I can already hear the angry screeching of grown ass men on Twitter screaming that a mermaid can't be Native American.
I love this Blindside Ami and Leann were controlling to much and definitely should not have told Scout that her and Twila won’t be brought to to four. Simply should have voted Chris here than Eliza and than the 3 of Ami ,Leann and Julie are top 3...
Twila was in f4 she had to be. And she did pretty well in that f4 immunity.
Twila ruled with this move.
As Jeff said in another season, "A punch, mainly, has been thrown" (Survivor: Game Changers)
YES! I jumped up and down. Not so much about pulling against Leanne but more so pulling for Chris to flip the dynamic. Makes for a better season.
Why does Chris get the most credit for this move though? Scout & Twila were clearly the initiators for the move being made in the first place.
@@kharihammon9784 idk. I'd have to rewztch it. Great move by Chris though.

Queen Eliza
This happened bc Amy and Lee ann said that was unfair Eliza continued and not Chris.

Leanns tall as hell but in a cool way
How tall is Leann? Why jeff didnt say anything about the hidden immunity idol? That didnt exist back then?
No, it didn't exist until season 11

Les Ismore really? She seems taller. Like 6 something
They had so many opportunities to eliminate Chris!!!
