Amen to MorningStar. Have MC6 Pro and blows me away all the possibilities and simplicity. Just got the HX One and controlling many effects and tools like tuner and looper from midi device. HX one is really a great space saver on the board for those occasional effects. Plus having extra set of distortion options beyond my BD2 and Motherload distortion/fuzz pedals is a bonus. Tube Screamer 808 in HX one is very versatile. I still find i have to have distortion, Wah/Whammy, reverb and delay pedals in addition to HX one due to having to stack more than the one effect. Also there are some effects lacking authenticity (ie whammy/wah effects). On positive note, the best part for me about the HX one effect selection is the controls are just a reach away, I don't have to maneuver through screens, menus or button pushes to get to the effect controls. Definitely worth the money in my book.
anyone who has tried this hx one with midi knows this device needs an update as it still doesn't work properly . that's why I stop watching all this sponsored video they never mentioned issues . anyway carry on ! before ANYONE come ask what issues I am referring to , let's say you set the hx one to be activated in preset from your midi controller then on a different to be bypassed , this thing will show that is bypassed but the effect is still on . so... thing needs an update .
That's interesting. Good to know. I use mine with a Gigrig G3S so never need to set the HX into bypass because it's either in the signal path or it's not with the Gigrig. For us guys that still use stomp boxes, this is thing is the perfect 'Swiss Army Knife' pedal for those one-off effects you need for a particular song and only use that effect for one song.

Have you reported this to Line 6? I've been considering an HX One and would use MIDI. Is there a workaround?
Also, what firmware version are you running?
@@daustin777 it’s been reported, they said that will be addressed in the coming update ! And yes I’m on the the latest firmware version
@@daustin777 3.71 I think the latest one available
