Hi! I recently got it as well and if you switch it to Mac mode it goes to White Back-light. But you can also make for example an effect like wave display only one color and you can pick one from the right side. So it just displays one color.
I just purchased this one, in the red switch, and amazon threw in a free set of the Keymove PBT pudding caps which are really nice, for about 64 dollars - so if anyone is interested in this keyboard, the board is on sale right now on Amazon depending on the switch you go for. I went with red, in the shadow version, because I have too many white boards atm :)
Team Snowfox here :D To apply solid color, set to Wave in the software and let it cycle only one color...i think lol 60% layout took some time to adapt. Binded CapsLk to FN so I can access keys like ~ and F1 easier. Bluetooth is pretty good for gaming imo (connected to BT 4.1). However, around 1 to 10 games, the input would freeze. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next firmware.
This is my first keyboard and still my current one. And this video is what convinced me to get one! I love your channel and I really like this board so far. Good news is Kemove already updated this model, or I at least got the updated one, so in case you’re planning to get this try to get in touch with your shop to be sure you’re buying the newer version. From what I’ve seen in some of the newer vids and my own model, the newer version has side printed sub legends in light blue. What’s new though is: - 5 pin hotswap pcb from the older 3 pin - Side printed sub legend stock keycaps, still shine through double shot pbt - the software has also been improved compared to when it first came out, still takes some getting used to but once you get it, its great

I just got this keyboard. If you select white lighting in the software, the keyboard will output a light purple colour. So I tried selecting a light green/yellow to offset the purple and this produced a decent white light.
For anyone looking for a similar board with 5-pin support, check out the GK61 series. They are very similar and at a similar price, but you won't have to cut up your switches! That said, I don't believe any of the GK boards feature the "Mac mode" switch. There are sub-models of the GK that end in "x", "s", or both - with "x" denoting optional support for split space bars, and "s" denoting Bluetooth support.
i just wish the software for this wasn't so poor while the overall build is much better than the Anne pro ii, and hotswap, the Anne has great software and would make living with a 60 percent tolerable for me cant wait enough for an NK65 restock though
If you go into the software, and then go into conic wave for example and you look at the bottom right, you can choose to only have 1 color in the lighting effect which allows you to pick a solid color from the pallet
For a white static color, you’ve got to click the “edit” button on the lighting section. You will see two large boxes on the bottom. The left box let’s you add the “lighting area” and the right box lets you add the lighting color and effect. Click the + sign on the left box and select the entire keyboard (you can click and drag on the keyboard layout above it). Then click the + sign on the right box to add a static white color. Once this is done you have to click the save button and head over to the macro section (Tedious right?). On the top keyboard layout click any key that you want to set as the “toggle” for your customized lighting (all static white in your case). When you click the key you’ll see two options. One of them is for a macro itself and the other to designate it as a toggle for the saved light setting. Once designated, press FN and the designated key while in wired mode. The software gets more complicated if you want multiple static colors at once but let me know if you need help.
Mac you would follow the same instructions as above. The white static color should stay even in wireless mode if click the macro assigned to the custom lighting you made. However, you’ll only be able to make changes to the custom lighting in wired mode
So took me a lil bit of tinkering, but you can make the keyboard a static colour byu going into the APEX Led software that you need to get for the Kemove keyboard; You go to the lighting settings, then select SPIRAL and then from spiral, select the colour(s) to 1 colour spiral then select the colour you want in the first slot. from here it should work and stay SOLID since spiral only starts spiraling between the colours selected.

Whoa another well timed video! I had just grabbed the K6 when I found your review and now I am waiting on my Kemove Shadow that I ordered last week. This is going to be my travel keyboard. My plan for this one is to do my first lubed switches with some Zealio V2's and some YMDK keycaps. I am going to see if it's practical to mod one of the GK60 wooden cases for this keyboard. If that doesn't work out, I am currently designing a custom body with a magnetic lid and wrist rest that I hope to have fabbed by a local CNC woodshop. I think it's worth noting that there are actually surprisingly few prebuilts that tick all these boxes- hotswappable board, LED, Mechanical (not optical) switches) BT5.1 and a battery bigger than the 1900mah unit found in the AnnePro2, GK's and similar. It's frustrating that all the cool wireless prebuilts with split spacebars are essentially all optical keyswitch based. I am assuming the Kemove software is essentially the GK software with maybe a different UI? I see a lot of negative feedback on the GK software and your experience sounds similar to some of the other stuff I have seen. Looking forward to watching the mods you do on this one.
@@miyou3playz_yt389 The Kemove has been pretty good up to this point. I bought the Snow Fox just to have a White and 60% board, but I think I am going to return mine. Someone with the company told me that the board had PCB mount switches. I guess he didn't understand the difference between 3 and 5 pins. I was looking for a cheap hot swappable board that I can test switches without wearing out my Kailh Hotswap Socket in my main drivers. That was originally going to be my K6, but I ended up loving it to much. I guess I could buy another K6 if I must. Keychron is becoming about the only non-major company that I trust at the door. I am hoping that Ducky comes out with a white hot swappable mecha 65 at some time, or KDB fans move me from position 1406 at some point. I got my Drop Alt yesterday. For a $300 dollar keyboard you'd figure it had stabs that sounded like gold. Thank goodness I had extra. I took it apart only to realize I was out of dielectric grease in the middle of the covidocalypse, so I am just going to use some Krytox 206, which feels like a waste. But I don't want to reassemble to disassemble by the time Amazon arrives Thursday. I think people should stay away from the Drop and the Alt until they update the PCB to a 5 pin hot swap and lube those stabs. My Keychron K6 had lubed stabs and switches for less than 100 bucks. I didn't realize the switches were lubed until I frankensteined me up some homemade Holy Pandas last night. Well, they look like Panda, they're tactile, but I used the spring out of the brown switches instead of the ones in the Cream houses. 10 less grams of actualization force feel better on the arthritis anyway.

I know this video is a few months old but I've been delving into this community alot lately and wanting to get a new keyboard. Currently, i am using a CM SK621, with low profile cherry reds and the new keycaps instead of the flat ones but.. i still kind of hate how the keys are because some keys are way smaller than they should be and the software is a nightmare to use.. I'm stuck between the KBParadise V60, AKKO 3068, and the KeMove 61.. Bluetooth is a big thing for me, i uss my keyboard in wired mode when gaming but wireless for everything else honestly, and sometimes from a good distance lol otherwise i might have gone with a Ducky One 2 From sounds tests, i think i actually prefer the sound of the Cherry Browns (At least over my low profile reds) but only the first two keyboards i mentioned have those switches available, this one uses Gateron but the Amazon title mentions that the switches are hots swappable? Would i be able to switch them to Cherry Browns or Holy Panda? (I like the sound of the panda switch as well lol )
Switch and Click thank you very much. I’m new to the mechanical keyboard world, but am looking for a nice accompaniment to the iPad Pro 12.9. Great video btw!
just a note it isn't bluetooth 5.1 What they really mean is that it can connect with bluetooth 5.1 devices, but the actual bluetooth module on the keyboard itself is bluetooth 3.0.
Are you sure? KEMOVE 60% wired & wireless gaming keyboard stands out of the crowd by using the Certified Bluetooth 5.1 technology to guarantee stable and faster connections in 10 meters with up to 3 devices for multitasking on a clutter-free desk, switch seamlessly. Come with 60 inches detachable braided USB Type-C cable, plug and play.
@@delog This is what someone said on reddit "I have the black one, and the battery life is awful, like all of their boards (2-3 days, whether in use or not). And it's actually using BT 3.0, not 5.1. It works with up to 5.1 but they're misleading in their advertising as usual. I also have an optical mechanical from them, and it's the same way, they claim it's BT 5.1 but it is actually still BT 3.0, and when confronted about it, their response is that "if we used BT 5.1 chip, it would not communicate with older BT on PCs, so it communicates with BT 3.0 which is compatible with up to BT 5.1." Basically, marketing bullshit." Someone else on another reddit thread talked about how they got confronted about it on Amazon reviews. I don't have any direct links to Kemove being confronted about this, but I know what these guys are saying is most likely true because bluetooth becomes a lot more efficient with battery as you get to a more recent version. The fact the snowfox has a 3000maH battery (one of the biggest in the industry) while still lasting barely a few days even with RGB off is a very large red flag that it is an older bluetooth version since they would be much less efficient with battery. The NT68 is actually a bluetooth 5.1 keyboard and because of this it can last up to 5 weeks of regular use (RGB off) even with a smaller 1900mAH battery.
Hello can you tell if the macro and remap configuration of the keys is saved on the keyboard to use on bluetooth? Or does the software only work with cable losing the configuration on bluetooth? I want to use the keyboard only with bluetooth on the company's notebook and I wanted to have the key maps configured on bluetooth! Thanks if you can answer, I research it but I can't find the precise information, sorry not native english.
yes, it does get saved on the keyboard itself, you can even set up up to four profiles you can switch freely with fn+q/w/e/r for example I have one profile for gaming, another for work, and one more for purely writing/chatting, the last one I have no idea what to do with but that’s pretty cool too
Can you guys review the new drevo calibur v2 pro? I was said it has a better battery than royal kludge rk71 and Bluetooth 5.1 which supposedly has less latency. What would be your suggestion for me as I need a 65-71% layout (arrow keys needed) and either Bluetooth with less latency or 2.4g dongled version so I can play some moba games? And preferably a white version with good RGB. Thanks.
There's no way you could do a video comparing ~60% hotswap and bluetooth boards (ie, keychon k6, kemove 61, etc.) is there? I would love a new 60%-65% hotswap bluetooth, but I'm not confident on which way to go. No one seems to compare these types of boards either. I just want something flexible, especially as a fairly new person to the hobby. I want to try new switches without ruining an expensive board while I practice soldering, and bluetooth means I could use it on my desktop and with my laptop, so I feel like this is the best way to go for me.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial hmm..fair point, but, with this logic, if all the info is a present on any given product then no comparison videos are justified at all. Anyway, thanks for the insight, and keep up the good work!

Also, the Windows key cap says 'Win' as opposed to the Windows logo/icon and the legend on my keycaps are orange and on the side of the key facing the user, not on the face of key. Hi Switch and Click this video was really helpful! Umm I'm interested in this and the SK/GK61, do you know if any of these boards have onboard memory? For example I'd like to change the “space bar” key to “w”, save that on the keyboard and have that function on a different device.
Awesome that's my kB! The delete key i want to remap to Fn Backspace.. yeah black switches are in a future upgrade. And Bluetooth doesn't work with my older MacBook.. Your wish to have white static backlight is EXACTLY the same request i made on kemove forums. For the im thinking putting an aluminum plate inside.. is that possible?
I am having an issue: I turn off the Bluetooth. Then I connect on wire mode. A few minutes later the Bluetooth comes back of its own. Had this happened to you?
I have saw others complaining about this issue. I think the customer support guy replying to them said to redownload the firmware off the website, or to make sure they had the correct version of the software downloaded. Scroll through the Amazon customer reviews.
there's a dedicated section to rebind completely the keyboard I guess. A quick solution is to pres fn+spacebar than the fn key becomes red and now the keys you press are automatically recognized as if you were pressing the fn key the whole time. Btw I got use to this pretty quickly, it just might take some patience

Will the Kemove Shadow hot swap with Optical switches??
Ordered mine
I know this video is a few months old but I've been delving into this community alot lately and wanting to get a new keyboard.
Currently, i am using a CM SK621, with low profile cherry reds and the new keycaps instead of the flat ones but.. i still kind of hate how the keys are because some keys are way smaller than they should be and the software is a nightmare to use..
I'm stuck between the KBParadise V60, AKKO 3068, and the KeMove 61..
Bluetooth is a big thing for me, i uss my keyboard in wired mode when gaming but wireless for everything else honestly, and sometimes from a good distance lol otherwise i might have gone with a Ducky One 2
From sounds tests, i think i actually prefer the sound of the Cherry Browns (At least over my low profile reds) but only the first two keyboards i mentioned have those switches available, this one uses Gateron but the Amazon title mentions that the switches are hots swappable? Would i be able to switch them to Cherry Browns or Holy Panda? (I like the sound of the panda switch as well lol )
@Matias Fernándo Moya Mendoza awesome haha and thank you!
wait is this keyboard exactly the same as the dierya dk61? just rebranded?
If I use the cable to plug-in to my Xbox will it work with my Xbox as well for CoD
Can you do the rk61?
Question: How long is the board? I can't seem to find the dimensions of the actual board itself anywhere...
Switch and Click thank you very much. I’m new to the mechanical keyboard world, but am looking for a nice accompaniment to the iPad Pro 12.9. Great video btw!
Does the dk61 shadow and original dk61 work on consoles as I’ve been hearing very mixed replies
This legend and sound, i like.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial will u have lubed + foam dampened version of this one?
Would love to hear more. Thanks
@@SwitchandClickOfficial no worries, can wait :)
just a note it isn't bluetooth 5.1 What they really mean is that it can connect with bluetooth 5.1 devices, but the actual bluetooth module on the keyboard itself is bluetooth 3.0.

This is what someone said on reddit
"I have the black one, and the battery life is awful, like all of their boards (2-3 days, whether in use or not). And it's actually using BT 3.0, not 5.1. It works with up to 5.1 but they're misleading in their advertising as usual. I also have an optical mechanical from them, and it's the same way, they claim it's BT 5.1 but it is actually still BT 3.0, and when confronted about it, their response is that "if we used BT 5.1 chip, it would not communicate with older BT on PCs, so it communicates with BT 3.0 which is compatible with up to BT 5.1." Basically, marketing bullshit."
Someone else on another reddit thread talked about how they got confronted about it on Amazon reviews.
Thanks if you can answer, I research it but I can't find the precise information, sorry not native english.
yes, it does get saved on the keyboard itself, you can even set up up to four profiles you can switch freely with fn+q/w/e/r
for example I have one profile for gaming, another for work, and one more for purely writing/chatting, the last one I have no idea what to do with but that’s pretty cool too
If I keep it wired to my Xbox but wireless to my pc say I’m playing Minecraft and I go to play CoD on my Xbox will that work?
Can you guys review the new drevo calibur v2 pro? I was said it has a better battery than royal kludge rk71 and Bluetooth 5.1 which supposedly has less latency.
What would be your suggestion for me as I need a 65-71% layout (arrow keys needed) and either Bluetooth with less latency or 2.4g dongled version so I can play some moba games?
And preferably a white version with good RGB.
Thanks.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Yeah I'll play wired for fps games but wireless for chill games. I'll get keychron then, thanks
I know this video is old but I’m trying to find a good 1st keyboard witch one would you buy if you could but one the gmmk up or the shadowfox ?
Shadow fox if you want to use different type of switches
@@SwitchandClickOfficial oh no! I'm sorry to hear that... On the other hand, to me, it looks like you guys have quite the excuse to pick up a bunch of new ones, huh?? 😅
This or the bw kb1? Layout dosent matter. Please help
May I have a link to the modding video? I would like to learn more on how to mod mine :o
Love this vid :)
@@SwitchandClickOfficial I found it thank you!!
apparently you can remove those black plastic bars, you only need a screwdriver to open the keyboard
That would be awesome 👍
should I buy it?
I got here from her Twitter. Why is this video randomly linked to her Twitter-
Upside down space bar tho
how did you install the software? Everytime i try to download it, it download as like an internet explorer thing. Im new to windows and stuff like this.
You have to Unzip it with a software
@@thebluetoo_ oh ok thanks
For some reason my Kemove Shadow takes 5-pin switches (although it comes with 3-pin switches). Also, the Windows key cap says 'Win' as opposed to the Windows logo/icon and the legend on my keycaps are orange and on the side of the key facing the user, not on the face of key. So did I get some newer revised model or an older one?
Newer
so basically the kemove shadow and the kemove snowfox are the same thing
Hi Switch and Click this video was really helpful! Umm I'm interested in this and the SK/GK61, do you know if any of these boards have onboard memory?
For example I'd like to change the “space bar” key to “w”, save that on the keyboard and have that function on a different device.
I am wondering the DK61 or the Tecware Phantom?
DK61
did you have discord? i cant stop watching your videos
@@SwitchandClickOfficial :(
@@SwitchandClickOfficial i will follow
anyways ♥️
Awesome that's my kB! The delete key i want to remap to Fn Backspace.. yeah black switches are in a future upgrade. And Bluetooth doesn't work with my older MacBook.. Your wish to have white static backlight is EXACTLY the same request i made on kemove forums.
For the im thinking putting an aluminum plate inside.. is that possible?
Does this keyboard word on console e.g ps4
DK61 or Keychron K6? Dedicated arrow cluster does not matter to me. Anybody?
I am having an issue: I turn off the Bluetooth. Then I connect on wire mode. A few minutes later the Bluetooth comes back of its own. Had this happened to you?
I have saw others complaining about this issue. I think the customer support guy replying to them said to redownload the firmware off the website, or to make sure they had the correct version of the software downloaded. Scroll through the Amazon customer reviews.
does anyone know how to use the software to make it so that arrow keys function as they should WITHOUT having to press the function key?
there's a dedicated section to rebind completely the keyboard I guess. A quick solution is to pres fn+spacebar than the fn key becomes red and now the keys you press are automatically recognized as if you were pressing the fn key the whole time. Btw I got use to this pretty quickly, it just might take some patience
@@gerolori As far as I know it's impossible to use handy Caps Lock remapped as Fn with IJKL as arrows.
That looks identical to the GK61.
Is this keyboard compatible with optical switches
No, only regular 3 or 5 pin switches, but this is better becase You can test a Lot of different types of switches
ok so if i hve a rk61 with brown switches, will i be able to change them to yellow switches?
No
Hotswaps get rattely after some time...
65% Soldered are King when it comes to gaming and productivity... (yes i know 75% but it is simply preference if u want to use the fn layer)...
sat75 is my ideal layout haha
Switch and Click u mean ur 65 with 2x2 cluster on the right instead of one row?
Switch and Click Oh cool...
I prefer a cluster of 3 (still leaves a space and has 1 more key...)
Hi, my board arrived Feb 21 2021.. It can now take 3 pin and 5 pin switches.
Wooo! Glad they fixed it
@@SwitchandClickOfficial ..and the sub legends are now on the front side of the keys facing the user - no more crowding on the top :)
What about TKL Fridays?? 😭
Not to say I'm disappointed to see another video from you! 😊 Please keep them coming
snowfox or shadow?
can you change the static color while in wireless mode?
mine is set in red color via default.
I'm sure you figured this out by now, but you can press FN+CapsLk to change the static color
@@joshuabishop2728 yes. thank you!
Can you use gateron yellows with this keyboard?
Yes, but make sure they're three pin
what happens when you press fn + backspace? I get a static white light.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial what about "fn" + "\" key (the key below backspace.
is there any way to disable the 3 minute sleep mode?
@@SwitchandClickOfficial ya I have sent them an email.
Thx for this videoooollooooooooooooooooo
I love ur vidddddsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Oooooooooowooooooooo
Hey every body
I am an owner of kemove snowfox keyboard is there a way how to bind something on the keyboard ?
Thanks for help.
You mean some functions? I don't really know by the software has a dedicated page so go check it out (you should have instructions for where to get it on the instructions manual)
hades68 or the kemove 61? i dont mind having arrow keys or not
@@SwitchandClickOfficial hotswap is preferred
@@SwitchandClickOfficial which would u recommend me getting if hotswap is preferred and i dont mind having arrow keys or not
@@SwitchandClickOfficial what about the sk64? would u recommend that?
Switch and Click what about the GK64? is this better than the ones u listed? if it isn't can u tell me in ur opinion which keyboard u listed out is the hest
glad the board isn’t optical switches. There’s a lot of hot swap optical boards
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Not a big fan of opticals?
@@SwitchandClickOfficial That's true.
I got my first hotswappable board a while ago, I quite liked the opticals.
What do you think of the switches themselves?
@@SwitchandClickOfficial what heavy tactile switches would you recommend? I'm in the hunt for some
Does anybody know hot to make a cherry 3 pin switch an optical cuz I spent almost 30 bucks on cherry switches and I have a optical keyboard so I’m wondering if I can at least use it at least
It doesn't work like that
@@SwitchandClickOfficial oh
just clip and lube the stabs, permatex is even more cheaper than krytox
pov u look on amazon and see its selling for $250
You can get silver switches now
🙆♂️ ay another hotswap keyboard. Sad to see it's 60$ though
