The problem doesn't lie in the defeat or failure or rejection the problem lies in the choice of the goal
if you want something heartedly
That you never stop trying for it then there is nothing called rejection in your life
If you are doing something based on external imposition then there is a failure.If you do something out of love then there is no thing such as failure bec you do again despite not getting it.

You anyway never wanted those things.
There is something that you never heartfelt wanted. Had you heartfully wanted it, there is a great probability that you would have obtained it. The fact is that you were pushed into it or just drifted into it.
Some unconscious type of desire pushed you towards a particular type of target. Your heart wasn't into it, your consciousness was not into it.
You never put your entire energy into it, your entire self into it, because that was not something that you loved from your core. The kind of energy that is needed to uplift life can arise only from a loving core.
That which you call as normal desire is so easy to defeat. You are desirous of one thing. The salesman displays something more attractive to you. Your desire immediately flips. The same thing does not apply to love.
Mostly, your rejections are worth celebrating. Those needless burdens put upon you by authoritarian and deceptive forces.
On the other hand, if your target is arising from your core, then it is the love for the target that keeps you going all your life. You want something so wholeheartedly, that you will never stop trying for it.
That's probably the only way to live, especially as a young person. To do something only because it deserves to be done. You cannot, not do it. You cannot, not love. Now tell me, where is failure?
The problem does not lie in defeat or failure or rejection. The question has to be "Where did your goals come from?" How have you started wanting something? And the quality of your choice depends on the quality of the being.
If you are inwardly asleep, then all your choices will arise from very vague, nebulous criteria. They would be like the toss of a dice.
All failure is symptomatic of inner sleep.
