It wasn't that bright when it entered and it was raining..I was up on the round tower as it entered..The reason the crew cheered was a man shouted Welcome to Portsmouth..

@@andywalton5258 If I remember correctly, we have had up to 8 or 9 ships in on the busiest days in Southampton. They had to move the embarkation halls to the cricket stadium and bus people in.
@@davideddy5877 granted. I remember when p&o had the whole fleet in, difference is now. Iona/qm2 are 185000t, brittania is 120.000 where the older ships the largest was Azura and Ventura at 110,000.
Lovely view from the motorway coming home tonight. She is huge!
Her hull and superstructure colour are certainly suited for entering a naval port. Nice job, as always, with the video.
Wonderful camera work as always, thank you.x
Thank you!
Just arrived to mooring off Torquay.
Nice video shipspotting
Stupenda come nave ❤️

Saw it whilst driving into Portsmouth this morning. Thought it was a building.
I can't wait to be able to sail on her or one of her sister ships.
She's coming home she's coming home - Scarlet Lady is coming home :D

This ship is actually quite ugly to look at.
Any idea when she leaves. Would love to see how big she is for my self.

@@CruiseCapital cheers bud. But I'll be at work. 😪. And thanks for the link 👍👍
I’m booked to sail on the maiden voyage on 2nd August from Portsmouth we depart at 7pm 🤩
Any reason why they chose Portsmouth over Southampton?
Possibly cheaper, and the fact carnival UK and US have 4 ships in Southampton today

She looks like block of council flats.
Give me the Cunard ships any day.
How many days will stay?
Just the day. Departing 8pm this evening
Why the tug?
It's the largest cruise ship to dock at the port and a very tight dock to moor against
Isn’t that just simply hideous!!?😖😲😡
What an ugly ship, like a floating block of flats
OMG she It's Just amazing , look that design ( Scarlet lady It's one of the best ships ever buit )
She’s amazing, horribly amazing! Simply ghastly! Yuk!
I still can't decide if I love her or hate her. She's is very impressive....but that doesn't necessarily mean attractive.
