Older Stacie Doll Makeover

- Today I'm giving Stacie an older/teenage doll makeover! This makeover is specifically for my Life with Barbie Stacie character! After looking through a bunch of different Barbie face sculpts, I felt like the 1998 "Tori" was a good match for her! I repainted her eyes green, rerooted her hair with a blend of 4 DG-HQ nylon doll hair colors from TheDollPlanetHair, and gave her an articulated doll body. I was going to give her the petite Made to Move body from the Barbie Looks collector doll, but it wasn't a match! So I leg swapped her basic articulated body with Hula Dance Skipper's legs to make her shorter. The most important thing for her doll makeover was that she would still look as close as possible to the original, and younger than Barbie, Bethany, and Skipper! :) Thanks for watching!

I feel like after Bethany’s makeover Chelsea totally needs to get a little older. I think maybe you could use a Stacie doll to make Chelsea’s older self or possibly the Marie doll from “Barbie and her Sisters in a Pony Tail” I think with some adjustment Marie could be the perfect older Chelsea.

Loads of people have been asking for an older Stacy doll because Stacy does look a little young for her age and she definitely needed some articulation!!

I know some people say that Chelsea also needs a makeover mainly with articulation but you can’t really find anyone with her height and decent articulation
I think Bethany should get a reroot not a drastic change but maybe just a slightly different colour

Wow, I loved how she stunned out. I was amazed at the leg swap. I had never seen that done plus you had to alter them to make them fit. You are very talented.

Finally came back to you! I fell in love with dolls at a young age and watched the very first episode of life with barbie. I don't play with my dolls but I use them for decore or sewing

I this she looks fantastic! And she has that teenage lankiness to her body so that was a perfect match as well. Also, her hair color and length is so beautiful! Mattel should follow your lead and make her as a young teen.😊❤

Amazing as always Kelsey! Stacie was definitely in need of a makeover and you totally aced it! The face mold is almost a perfect match! The leg swap was genious and really interesting to watch. You always come up with amazing, creative new ways to customize dolls. A true inspiration to doll collectors everywhere. I think Bethany should get a makeover next! Maybe some blonde highlights with her hair a little longer? She would also look really pretty with wavy hair or beach curls.

Also if you need to rebody her, then creatable world is the same height as a petite Barbie. In case you did not know Creatable world is a doll line created by mattel in 2019 that gives you articulated bodies, an equal amount of male and female characters, high quality high, detailed clothing pieces and wigs. You should check it out if you want to rebody Stacie.
