Everyone's comments, that I've read, are on the club head, the materials used, the angles it strikes a ball, and the spin and distances it creates. But, we all know that the governing body of club manufacturing regulates how much power a head can produce or the club becomes illegal. I would like to see more on the production of power, speed, and distance when a club shaft ("the engine") is used in combinaton with a featured club head and how it creates speed and distance. Don't get me wrong, Matt has an excellent swing and a speed that's incredible, but as a regular guy (90-95mph) might benefit from the shaft/head combinations. Thanks guys keep up the good work. It's very interesting.
Love the content. I enjoyed seeing Ian change the settings and watching Matt hit those bombers. Would love to see a full fitting showing the extremes of loft/spin etc.
Go to channel for new equipment tests. No wonder Cobra sent it to you with that shaft ! I don’t have Matt’s swing speed but still like how you both show the drivers capability and how regular viewers can see differences in the performance of various heads. Nice job as ever. 👍🏻

I too love my Cobra Speedzone Extreme ( but with VA Vylyn 55 reg ) and would be mindful of changing, but look forward to all Cobra RAD testing. Santa Me is watching and still time to purchase.
The RAD Speed heads are unreal. Love the sound and feel........PRICE!! Looks really good in my Project X HZRDS Lime Green stick as well. Nice work as always fellas.
From an aesthetics standpoint, the crown of RAD is much more subtle (i.e., less gimmicky). And the fact that it sits square is a big plus. On my list to try.
I know swings are different day to day, but you should have a whiteboard with all the stats of a driver like how the original Top Gear would have all the lap times of the top cars. Could be fun to see.
I wish I could be different colours but it is what it is. I don’t know if many companies are having the best looking stuff from what I’ve seen this year. But.... it works that’s for sure 😂
Just when I thought my SIM was safe in the bag! Guess not! Looks like could be a great match with that RDX blue 60TX the other day! Also seems like a great follow up from a couple years ago with that F9 and pro 2.0TS maximize ball speed video!
350 with standard length shaft....no wind help, no downhill run out....put an extra 1.5 inches on the shaft and Matt is definitely in Bryson territory without needing to bulk up to 240 lbs.
@@Wesquire So he's within 8-9% of Bryson's swing speed....that's in the same territory isn't it? Also I'm pretty sure that these were measured with a standard length shaft not a 48" shaft.
I went to my local PGA SUPERSTORE and tried the Redspeed XB. I brought my Fly Z for a head to head test. There was negligible difference between them. Launch angle,spin, carry, total distance and dispersion. I was surprised by the results, even if I do save $450.
I love my SIM. Especially with the minor changes I’ve made with my swing and loft increase I’m carrying the fence again at the range in the winter. But not gonna lie if this is as stable as the sim I may contemplate making a switch. This seems to be faster
Also as a fitter, would you like to see TM, Ping, Cobra and others go to a 2 piece sleeve so you could adjust loft and face angle independently. Come to think if it, why dont they all use a 2 piece sleeve?

Cobra drivers look like fast cars. As much as I love my Rogue/ Mitsubishi red combo, there are at least 4 drivers out there that appeal to my eye. I keep saying it, never been a better time to be a golfer.
This is tough to write, because TXG videos are probably the best for a golf nerd like me. BUT, while the theory you an Matt share is absolutely helpful, the numbers he can put up don't translate to most people. I am a 2+ handicap and at 40 years old can not put up 178 MPH ball speeds. So I guess what I am saying is I still want to see Matt hit 350, but can you find a local course pro who only puts up 110 swing speeds and 140 ball speeds to show how NORMAL really good ball strikers hit these new clubs work. I get the dynamics that working new stuff into a youtube channel are/ But you are literally a the highest functioning real test and REAL World club fitting (at the same time) channel. You do great work, but Matt is in the top 10% of swing and ball speeds, even for low single digit handicapper's. Can you find away (if anyone can, you can) to relate this better to more golfers? That's all I'm getting at. Keep up the great work, and this channel as an absolute golf dork, is my favorite channel.
A little surprised by how low Matt's smash factor/efficiency was, looked like 1.41 or 1.42 for most of those you showed. Is the head speed accuracy number just not accurate and giving a high number thereby lowering the efficiency? Because on that last one it said he had 127mph club head speed, which should nearly be 190mph ball speed when hit in the center of the face (1.49 smash).
