this prompts a question. is the best defence, being able to play different coverages and switching between them. or playing your best one for the majority of the game (heats zone).

A defense that can switch between different coverages usually throws the offense off for a couple of possessions but it takes a lot of dedication from the players. If 1 misses the switch you are in for problems/breakdowns.
