I know this is the modern NBA and everything is very guard centric, but watching a big, strong dude like Sabonis, guarded by 6'3 Eric Gordon with no immediate help coming over, just decided to NOT attack the height advantage will never stop being weird to me...
Because he got the ball too far away from the basket. Sabonis should have destroyed this Suns team if the guards would feed him properly. Instead, Brown subs him out, as if he were the problem.
The thing I hate that I’ve seen occur with Sabonis often is him just standing basically at the free throw line looking for a cutter to pass the ball too. He’ll almost have his back to the basket with no one guarding him! Just turn around and shoot or drive! Is he that poor of a paint player? He’s 6’10’’ ffs
Sabonis tried to pressure Booker in the backcourt because Allen picked up his dribble. It was the right idea, but he’s not the right guy to be doing that.
Sabonis should've curbed his ego and let Brown coach. Although, it looked bad benching him it was good decision from Brown just needed little bit more time to adjust to attack.
The durant at center lineups won't work against Jokic and the Nuggets. Jokic is much more skilled than Sabonis and most other bigs at bullying weaker players down low.
Too many insane come back happened in NBA history. This one is not that great, Suns had 5 minutes to get it done. Remember Houston? Tmac? It was against the spurs. Duncan, parker, ginobili, Bowen. Not to mention greg pop as the head coach. This Suns have 3 stars but had to work their asses off of it. 😂😂😂😂 Y'all Suns fans gotta stop dreaming, you won't get pass play in 😅

Agreed, Jokic is very skilled and much better on defense. Small ball's volatility with the 3 ball really meets a brick wall when it's not hitting.
