He’s a boxer that is impossible to dislike.
I don't dislike him, but I recognized that his earlier comments about not moving around and how he was gonna stand in the pocket and trade with Joyce was either dishonest or delusional. It is what it is. I was just shaking my head at his nonsensical comments. Everybody in the real world knew that there was no way Parker could stand and trade with Joyce. So he stayed on his bicycle, of course. And if he wasn't loading up, trying to hurt Joyce, he could possibly have won on points. Instead, he gassed himself out throwing bombs. Forget the bombs, touch Joyce and move. I guarantee you that's what Usyk will do.

4. Don’t try to be a slugger
5. Stick to your attributes of being a boxer
6. Use movement and hand speed like in the early part of your career

Interesting to see Joyce against Parker. Parker ain’t no walk over, but Joyce showed that no matter how awkward or technically imperfect he is, he has what is required and probs has the best long game in the division.
Parker may think he can box smart and all but today he didn't and it started at the scales. Parker has shown going above 240lbs he can be tired and sluggish and juggernaut isn't the guy for that 😂
@@billysmoke2736 Exactly what I was thinking. The way to beat Joyce is outbox him, hit and move, speed. You beat him with subtle boxing, not with powershots. Joe has the best chin in the business, he's bulletproof. The old, lighter and speedy Parker would have done better.

Joyce was outstanding. Parker showed a lot of heart and landed good shots that might have won him other fights, Joyce is just too strong and he’s a lot better than people think. Parker will beat a lot of Heavyweights, he just needs to keep going and not be disheartened.

Parker should be proud of his performance. His ability to be humble in defeat is a beauty not many hold. Even when asked about previous opponents he's faced he was humble in comparison.

I thought Parker stood around with his hands down too much ... particularly after he would a flurry of punches ... he stood there and was easy to counter.
We saw how Parker has deteriorated.
Sure but Joseph was easily at his worst... ever... no power, poor movement, no stamina and terrible strategy... great guy yes buy let's not go past how disappointing he was..

Joe Joyce is an absolute wrecking ball, heavy hands, relentless pressure, mega chin, immaculate engine, he makes the ring a very small place for his foe. Despite this, Parker never stopped trying, showed tremendous willing and heart, they both put it on the line, Parker fights the best opponents and puts it on the line every time. Got more respect for fighters who fight the best rather than a padded record.
This is a man, firm handshakes big sir, top effort from your heart, and great job by Joyce too, absolute gentlemen these guys, good stuff

I’m not sure why Parker came in so heavy, he was so much faster when he fought AJ and Whyte, I’m not saying he would win I’m just saying he might would had took less of a beating, Parker came in this fight a staggering 20lbs heavier then he did in the Joshua fight

I don't know about who Parker hung around with ... but he certainly stood around upright with his hands down a lot. He would throw punches then just stand there ... like a sitting duck. To win he would have to be quick and stick and move.

He came in way too heavy for his body type and that prevented him from being able to move around as well as he usually does. I don’t know why his camp went with that plan. He was never gonna match the strength of Joyce. His only chance would have been to keep moving the whole fight, and he gave away that ability before the fight even started.
