Hey Ejayy. According to Hebrews 10:26, can I be forgiven of willful sin AFTER receiving knowledge of the truth and After following Christ for a while?? After I knew the gospel and that sin wasn’t good but I still decided to willfully do it according to HEBREWS 10:26 because it says there no longer remains a sacrifice for our sins?? I believe I also knew something on willful sin but I chose to do it and wondering if I can be forgiven and be saved if I TRULY REPENT and turn from my sins? Please help me out man.🙏
I thought about this yesterday. We know what's wrong. We know it before we do it, and still we do what's wrong. We experienced the things the prophets, apostles experienced. God has created everything good, and man was given the power of choice to do what he wants/ needs to do. Being saved is not for a man to decide but to God. I am walking as a child of God, and through my path, there are times I stumble, but did I stop walking? No. The devil doesn't want you to do wrong, to be wrong, but he wants you to feel miserable that even how many times you prayed, you still fall into sin. And in that way, you move away from God, thinking you will not be forgiven. The goal is not to be perfect but to finish the walk to God, together with Christ.
A believer is one who sins yet seeks to better himself to be closer to God. If you fell and got back up be sure sure avoid what made you fall in the first place, through his grace and love we are given that opportunity.
