Lyrics:
Don't be alarmed, I feel we're falling back to ground
Don't be afraid, I hear in every word they say
That even if you don't look back, be sure to find out who was there
And what they wore, and ten more reasons
Don't be alarmed, I feel we're falling back to ground
Your face is light and cocaine white
Misleading at most, I'm supposed to imposter a new you
And even if you're woken up
Make contact both at once, we've made mistakes like this
And I'm just learning
Your face is white in spinning lights
Spinning lights, don't be scared
You have given so much more
Spinning lights, take me there
He has risen, pull me under
Don't stop talking to me, I haven't been listening
This operation's been abandoned once again
Cut me gently, cut me out of mind
Cut me gently, cut me out...
Spinning lights, don't be scared
You have given so much more
Spinning lights, take me there
He has risen, pull me under
Don't stop talking to me, I haven't been listening
This operation's been abandoned once again
Cut me gently, cut me out
Cut me gently, cut me out of mind

Man I wish I could go back in time and hear this song for the first time again 14 years ago. Chills
I don't know how this song eluded me for so many years. Not to be too overdramatic, but this song re-ignited my love and passion for the drums that has been lost for a long time. I've had this song on repeat for pretty much the whole day.
Please Listen to the “Animals” album, by This Town Needs Guns, and please come back and tell me about it after you listen, to at least the one song “Chinchilla” specifically for the Drums/Drummer.
I know for a fact you will love it.
No, its not my band lol i wish though, just amazing.
Everyone talks about Anthony Green, but this band is built on drums. Steve Clifford is a god.
He really is though.
Steve and Nick are a super great rhythm section. They keep the songs grounded while the guitars get to go haywire
I remember reading a review of On Letting Go where the reviewer criticized the band for having mediocre and uninteresting drums and said that OLG just sounded like Juturna rehashed and I couldn’t decide which claim was more ridiculous. The drums are fantastic and the two albums are very different, not sure wtf that guy was talking about.
@@Childofbhaal Literally everyone in the band goes haywire, then brings it back to center. It's perfect.
I remember turning this song louder at 1:30 and just zoning out "SPINNING LIGHTS, DON'T BE SCARED". This album is pure greatness
I will never forget this insane drumming for as long as I live
Of all the old songs I used to listen to and am now rediscovering, this one slaps hardest.
I remember upon rediscovering this song after so long, in highschool, I was so fucked up off of my depression and anxiety medications that this song kept playing in my headphones for a week straight.
I lost so much weight and distanced myself from friends and family, I wasn't losing myself but I began to resent myself for it.
The instruments, vocals and lyrics just bring me back to the ground I fell from
it's been 2 years since you posted this comment. For some reason I felt the need to comment, but I hope you're doing okay. Remember to continue to stay strong. I might not been in your exact position, but I know what the feeling is like. I would like to recommend you a song and lmk if you like it! You should listen to Need 2 by pine grove. Hope you're doing well ! :3
So proud you let us in on this experience my friend. I hope all is well circa has gotten me through wayyy to much and your pain is well understood, many blessings and have a safe travel till the end ❤
I just heard this song for the first time in a music store the other day. I looked up some of the lyrics to find it and ordered the album. It’ll arrive tomorrow.

I was 17 and I remember this song helped me through my first psychedelic trip
This album guided and gave me the best beautiful trip I’ve ever had
real
this song has saved my life several times i'm so glad it exists
Thank you, Equal Vision, and Circa Survive
2:40 is the most beautiful riff ive ever heard in my life
My best friend died in a car accident 5 years ago as a passenger. I finally understand the meaning of this song now years later...
the drums and guitar just flow so well and then you got Anthony one of a kind voice
one of the best songs ever, just like all of their songs lol.
best song on juturna
I love this song so much but when I listen to it, it makes me sad. I associate this song with my bad alchoholic past. I'm 7 months sober now but this song still makes me ball.
Hope you're doing well on your journey my friend! One day at a time. Stay strong.
@@gethoneydipped I relapsed a few months ago, but I wouldn't consider it a relapse. I'm in a much better place that I was a year ago. I'm able to drink and have a good time with friends instead of how it used to be. Now I just drink once every blue moon when I'm out with friends or something. It isn't a crutch for me anymore. I'm proud of how far I've come. Thank you for the support :) It's people like you that helped me get to this point.
The first track I heard from this band. I wish I could hear it for the first time again.
This THIS is the song that made me fall in love i mean juturna is all good but this THIS is peak far too underrated
Timeless classic
“Don’t be alarmed, I feel that we’re falling back to ground”… I was a troubled kid doing things I shouldn’t have. I’m sorry

My high school days are coming back 🥲🥲🥲 god I miss 2005
Damn same. Not missing 2020 though. Actually, this less reminds me of high school and more of homelessness
@@droptherapy2085dude I'm sorry that you had to experience that, hope you're in a better place now
