I have been making this for months now. My family can’t get enough. I usually switch up the flavor. Buffalo, spicy bbq, honey mustard whatever. I also add cucumber. My son said something was missing and it was the crunch of the cucumber. Oh and tuna and top it with this minus the extra meat 😋

I can tell he has a great spirit and he's fun to he around !! 😏😂 There's a number of variations to making this like others have suggested....just a salad, serving the bread separately or as toasted slices, different toppings/spices/sauces, etc. I'll definitely use this as a foundation for when I i make it. I tried this and oh my my!! My husband loved it, as did I. I did add some olive oil, and I used roast beef instead of salami, but man was it good. I was so shocked. Also I didn’t have the cool cutlery, so I used a knife and food scooper. It worked out great. Thank you, I don’t think I’ll ever think of a sandwich any other way again.

For a low carb option- this is a fantatic idea to chop everything exactly as you did, throw it in a bowl, and add some kind of dressing in place of mayo- breadless chopped sandwich into a salad! I love me some bread, but I'm looking for low carb recipes. This looks amazing!

Love it! I do soak the onion slices for 5 minutes in water to reduce the sharpness. Yep and oil and vinegar instead of Mayo.
I do for small sandwiches but for something this loaded the onions wouldn't be as pronounced.
