The grizzly bars are 1/2" by 2 1/2" flat bar about 4" apart. Ever second one has a pivot point at the top. My intention was to make it so I could kick them up with the bucket to unplug them but so far I use the 2" screen on top for most of my jobs. Being able to shake the screen with the bucket keeps it mostly free of build up but it dose depend on the material. The dryer the better. So far it has been working great and it is very low maintenance witch makes my wife happy.
Very nice job. Question you put the square mesh on top of the grizzly bars, what is your experience with that, does it plug up a lot? What size is the square opening? Looks like 1 inch thick by 4 inch grizzly bars about 4 inch spacing correct? How about a video showing it screening gravel couple minutes worth of screening, so we can see how it works.
I like your no motor approach with the springs and you can just tap it.
Pretty good design in that it is portable with forklift attachment.
