Separating Rock With Homemade Rock Screen

So the ranch driveway is in need of repair so I'm running this rock threw the separator to get what I hope is good binding rock. The material that goes threw first with the loader has very little clay in it. The material that I try with the excavator has more clay that is why it plugs up.

It’s working great and you mentioned springs and hinges and trial and error. That’s how I roll! So my question is, did you build the frame out of lumber?

yes, but that angle sometimes doesn't work on some materials. So I lift it up for a steeper angle. If or when I do another one I would add springs on the top and hinges on the bottom angle so the deck will shake when the material hits it. It's all about trial and error.
