Sir, In the video for 09:54, are you sugesstting the node connecting 2 ohm resistor and 3 ohm resistor and the node connecting 4 ohm resistor and 1 ohm resistor are actually the same? But that's a wire replacing the voltage source which is short circuited? I am a bit confused~~~
Hello Sir, why the circuit is not consider as left branch (2 ohm resistor & 3 ohm resistor ) and right branch (4 ohm resistor and 1 ohm resistor) are parallel? Instead, the branches are parallel with the combination (2 ohm resistor & 4 ohm resistor ) and (3 ohm resistor and 1 ohm resistor)?
In general they are not parallel because the voltage source in middle which has a non-zero current passing through. When the voltage source is made zero, 2ohm becomes parallel with 4ohm and 3ohm becomes parallel with 1ohm.
Saved my PH 206 electronics course. Very neat slow and easy to understand. Big Up Southern Africa appreciates.
Happy to hear that! Please share it with your friends to support the channel.

Well, with the wire connecting them (the short circuited voltage source) both nodes are the same; means it is just one node.
In finding ix2, you turn the circuit to series, so where is the line of ix?
Can it ever be the same as the value of the current source? I'm referring to frequency domain with capacitor and inductor.

if the current source is positive 3 then what will be the changes accur in the solution
kindly guid me
Similar solution till minute 12. Then V1=4V, V2=9/4 -> I2ohm=2A, I3Ohm=3/4A, Ix2=5/4A=1.25A and Ix=3.333A
