Bill didn't seem angry when he learned that Gideon, someone who he put into a position of power and authority as a reward for aiding one of his schemes earlier in the series betrayed him and potentially set back his plans. Most villains would be openly enraged at being betrayed by one of their minions but Bill brushed it off as nothing. While he was undoubtedly unhappy with Gideon and planned to punish him for stabbing him in the back, he didn't seem worried at all. That shows how powerful and confident Bill was that his plans couldn't possibly fail.
