- We are so excited to share our DIY Ram ProMaster van conversion!
This was our first ever van conversion and there was a lot to learn along the way but we're proud of what we accomplished! This is a 2016 Ram ProMaster 2500 High Roof, 159" wheelbase. Although we will not be living full time in this van, we will be spending several months at a time in it so we wanted to make sure it felt very livable!

one of the best layouts for a non-extended promaster. amazing how you were able to fit in an enclosed shower and manage to make room for the closet. i guess you have to always compromise with a shorter space, but you cannot sit together to eat. in the end probably a good sacrifice. you seem really happy, so i guess it is working out nicely for you.

So water needs to be refilled every couple two days when you on the road. Is it too much work to do?

SEEING these things lets me know that Van life is not for me .Glad i saw it before i buy .The lay out just wont fit my needs .For i like passenger friendly vehicles which give at least 7 passengers a ccmfortable ride and then think of things like kitchen restroom and shower and sleeping quarters
There's a Mercedes Sprinter Lng wheel base. .170 or something. .. then you raise it a little for the back post wheel extension clearance and you can customize it as per your preference..
