Jacob, in approaching his father wearing the sheepskin over his neck and hands, has a feel, or appearance of his elder brother, but does not sound like his elder brother. In this exact instance, Jacob is not a type of Christ, he is a type of the devil. We are told the devil will come, impersonating Christ which means he will have an appearance as unto an angel of light, but we know he is not going to sound anything like Christ when he opens his mouth and begins to speak.
