We learned the hard way never to book through Expedia again. If there’s an issue of any kind, good luck getting help or a refund. I concur with what these 3 ladies said.
I bought the tickets from Expedia too. I was told my tickets were canceled when I got in international airport. I was told I should get refunds. But I contacted Expedia customer service 5 times. Still no refund yet. It was the worst nightmare I’ve ever experienced! 😢

Oh my I’m also in this same situation... Neither my travel broker and Philippine airlines had issued my refund...it’s been almost a year now since April 2020...what should I do guys? This sucks all day
Fkn harass them speak to supervisor. Check if your bank will allow a charge back. Just keep calling and staying on the phone with them until they give you back what you are owed.
@@Heather-xt8xn I appreciate the feedback but unfortunately I had to wait about 9 mos until I finally got my refund about 2 mos ago...I even had to report them via email to dept of travel in US and emailed them about my situation then they reached out to Philippine airlines and enforced the refund immediately .,.if I’m not mistaken the refund process after I emailed DOT is that it took about a month
Surely as Expedia takes your money, keeps their commission before referring the remainder to airline, it's up to Expedia to refund to customer and claim the money back from the airline as the contract was with Expedia 🤔
As some one who worked for customer service for expedia, they are 3rd party, they have to call the airline company to ask for refund when airline says no expedia cannot do anything! Its airlines miscommunication with expedia. So pls just book directly !! Dont use any 3rd party because refund takes too much tkme
@@wrnowown I was able to get a refund. I paid 1200 for a ticket and they gave me 1100 saying there was a cancellation fee which was bullshit confirmed by Delta. I had to keep calling and calling and eventually they gave in to my cussing and calling. It worked but shouldn't be this way.
@@ItsGagandeepSingh alot of screaming and cursing at the reps at expedia. I called over 10 times and they finally gave in. Understand that I was also going to Japan which is closed so that may have helped. I wish you luck my friend.
i have an email from an operator form Expedia about my refund to my cancelled flight but now the operator denied me the refund saying that she made a mistake. Help me out

Flighhub booked for me a flight leaving 3/19/2021, Thur Delta air, whom changed the flight to Aeromexico, Aeromexico cancelled the flight for the 19th and booked for the 18th, I requested a full refund because the flight was cancelled by the airline and Flighthub refused to refund me even tho it is their fault. What do I do now? I ended up booking thru Expedia but Expedia contracted Delta and Delta again to Aeromexico.and none of those companies let me add a checked in bag or guaranteed handicap accessible help, 🥺😠🤯
I’m currently having the worst experience ever with Expedia. My problem is still not resolve its my first and LAST TIME EVER booking with them. I booked with them last week for 8 days in Honduras, on their website it was shown they had availability’s for my dates I place my order receive my confirmation and 30 minutes later the hotel where I booked my vacation sends me an email through Expedia saying unfortunately the dates chosen were unavailable and they have to cancel my booking. I was surprised and asked them how come since it was showing availability’s on EXPEDIA. They told me that is was Expedia’s fault because they have not refresh their available rooms. So they told me they are canceling my booking and you should call Expedia for my refund. I called them 5 minutes after receiving this email and guess what, Expedia tells me that there’s a fee of 50% that will not be refunded because of the cancellation. Remember it’s their fault they admitted is was but their policy is to call the hotel manager to confirm and see if they want to fully refund me if not I will only get 50% back of my money I’m so furious right now. My case is actually escalated to the higher supervisor I have threatened them that I will hire a lawyer because currently I’m loosing 1000$ dollars because of them and it’s their fault. I decided to browse online to see if other people have experience what I’m going through right now.

Always use a reputable travel agent or book direct, even if it costs more. We learned this the hard way.

NEVER BUY A FLIGHT THROUGH A THIRD PARTY AGENT LIKE EXPEDIA FOR THIS VERY REASON. ALEAYS BUY DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE. SAME FOR HOTELS AND CARS.

I would be happy for a credit for a new flight. I can't even get that. Cancelled because of covid19. $600.00 gone.
