Thanks Dean for the update. I am a farmer and have used the Haloview system for a couple of years on my combine and grain cart. They work great. Hummer Down!
So it records continuously while truck is off for how long? I clicked the amazon link to this camera and asked this same question. Everyone is saying once truck power is off, camera system is off. So, I'd like to know how you made this possible
I have this system as well, with the addition of a rear camera at the end of my trailer. My curiosity is this, have you or any one of your subscribers/viewers had a problem with the screen powering on/off without rhyme or reason? I had Haloview replace the monitor and I got the same results. Wiring is not the issue, as I've tried the cigarette adapter and directly to positive and negative posts. Anyone had this problem?
Thats a nice set up, however, i think its useless for the front seeing how u took out the dash cam's night vision. I wouldve put the dash cam on the outside b4 i remove the night vision. Thats half our driving.
Ok so I just obtained this truck and it already had the system in there. The dash wire where hooked up via cb connectors up top but I tried to hook the mirror cameras to the dash cb connectors and shorted it out to where the monitor nor camera doesn’t come on anymore- did I blow a fuse, if so which one?
How did you wire the outside cameras. I bought one but now I am in desperate need of tutorials on how to connect outside cameras. I have a Freightliner. 🙏 thank you.
Too complicated for me, I still can't figure out a computer, I do everything on a tablet, can't figure out parts of it, I have cell phone because it's cheaper then a land line, comes with games and all kinds of junk, all I want the phone to do is receive and send phone calls. That camera set up is nice. Pull toy here.
Hello driver, I'm in the market for a good camera system for my truck as well. Are you still using this system and still happy with it? Does this system record your current gps coords and speed?
Installed these cameras on my semi after watching this video, returning them after a week of use. Like the system but the video quality is poor, shady video for cameras mounted on mirrors and front facing camera.
Is it possible to have a monitor in the front cab area and another one in the sleeping area for security at night using the same cameras....If so how would you wire it...
Is the blind side dock using the camera system you just did a review on? I noticed the video was several months ago. Thanks for the quick response. So appreciate it. Stay safe out there!
You're welcome 👍No it's not. That was with a Gopro, but it was mounted in the same place on the mirror that the new camera is. I didn't realize that's what you wanted the video with. I can get a video with the new camera system next time we do a blind side. No problem there.
It has a 984 foot range but Haloview also offers an antenna extender to give even greater range. I would definitely contact them on Facebook. facebook.com/haloview/
Abd nobody ASKED THIS. how about when you park the truck on off for a week etc a month etc battery will die next day, or the system just off and no surveillance at that point. Useless if needed truck on to have juice, i think a solar battery charger will be a good idea to have it 24/7 all year. Im a o/o and Park my rig for a week a month sometimes but need them on while off duty.
Car dash Camera 📷 everywhere but when it comes to semi truck and trailer . The market is black out ⚫ . They need to make semi truck and trailers 360 cam . Currently semi truck and trailers require 6 different cameras set up is ridiculous..
Thanks Dean for the update. I am a farmer and have used the Haloview system for a couple of years on my combine and grain cart. They work great. Hummer Down!
Sounds like things r going your way. I'm happy for you 2. Praying for u and your family. Your friend Shoey.
Thanks for this update off the Haloview Dean awesome.
Man, You guy's are in Good Hands...Way to Go.!!! It's A Must Have..
It really is anymore.
I.m going to check them out thanks 🙏 for the video it was awesome

Excellent review and tutorial of the product.
Thank you Blaine

Anyway to hook up the camera for the trailer???

Awesome Video like the camera system!
We really love it. Such a piece of mind having it.

how is ur camera working now, since its 3 years later

For a guy with such a poor computer background, u sure seem to be commenting on RUclips just fine...
Great video appreciate Sir.
Are u able to just pick up the screen and move it at anytime like it’s a tablet of some sort
How is the range? What if you use it as a backupcamera on a long trailer? Willl the video quality and input time drop?
How is the system doing now
Thanks for the upload, do you know if the camera lens can be manually rotated to adjust the image on the horizontal cameras?
Can I watch it from a remote location by adding wifi?
Can the recording be live uploaded to cloud? Also do you use any cams behind trailer?
Does it show the date and time when you play it back?
How can i order the 3 cameras
They only selling at amazon one camera and monitor
Great video!
Thank you

So now we'll get to see some more night driving Dean?
That is now possible.
This is exactly what I need! What do you think about installing one inside of the trailer?
I think it would work fine. It just needs a 12v and a ground to work.
Trucking with Double D's Thank you so much for the advice & response!

I would assume you could. I have 2 monitors and could try this out this week.
does it record all 3 cameras at the same time?
Yes it does. It can record up to 4 at one time.
Do you have to be mindful over how much you close the windows for the wire?
The wire runs through the door, not the window. 👍
Nice. Maybe you can get an insurance discount bonus from Hummer! lol
Lol. I'll have to check on that.
It’s com with 1 camera or 4 cameras
Is there a chance you could do a video of you doing the blind side dock and post. Husband is curious.
Actually I have a few videos of doing just that. I'll try to find one of them on the channel and I'll get you a link to it to.

That video has a blind side. The blind side starts at 3:18

It records for 7 days straight with a 128gb SD card
@@TruckingwithDoubleDs dang that's awesome ! You have a link for order? Halo?

What about lane change beep
How the wireless cameras get their power?
I put a 12v plug on them and plug then in to a cigarette lighter outlet. 👍

Thank you
Is there a way to install the 2 outside cameras inside the cab instead of outside on the mirrors
I'm sure you could mount them somewhere.
How long does it records before it loops ?
It records all 4 camera for about 9 days straight with a 128gb card

Nice video bro I wished I had when this idiot hit my truck at the Love bro. Question those cameras runs on battery?
They don't. They need 12v to them. I do have a battery operated version also.
