First, the castings, rejections, plane ticket and accommodation fee, 2 hours of getting ready and people touching your body, time management, and yes they do practice the proper walking and posture (its harder if there are MANY BIG artistic clothing that is hard to carry/walk with, and ect. It's not just walking down the runway :)) not being rude just clarifying. The designers and team spent months or even a year preparing these clothing and event. It was disrespectful and "they're just walking" shouldn't be an excuse, well any excuse is invalid for a 'comedian' to crash an even that only happens yearly or even every 3 years.

See, I normally don’t have a problem with pranks involving normal people getting into expensive/high class event when they’re harmless. The Zac and Jay Show, for instance, dressed up their friend like a model and managed to get themselves into shows at fashion week. The difference here is that they didn’t actually interfere with anything important. They made a few photographers think their friend was a model, and they got security to let them into some of the shows, but then they just watched. They didn’t try to get him on the runway or ruin anyone’s work, they basically just sneaked in and watched but in a more fun way. This prank, on the other hand, caused more harm than laughter.

Hi, Marie's playing a role, even in this interview. As a satire comedian her goal is to mock every aspect of our society with grotesque and provoking actions. You don't have to adhere of course but you got her intentions wrong, she doesn't play the victim at all, she is still mocking the whole buzz. She explained in another interview that she crashed the show at the very end of it to make the littlest impact on the work that's been done for it. It's still crashing a show but believe it or not she didn't go there to spoil the event, Chanel hasn't even sued her.

Whether you are shocked or amused by what she did, you cannot seriously take what she says in this interview at face value. She's still playing her outrageous, reckless character, at least partially. Everything she says is somewhat ironic.
When she acts all offended by being called a 'low-life', it's clearly a joke, I'm suspecting she wasn't even called that. And of course she knows Gigi Hadid, that's the joke, she's playing on the fact that she's nobody next to this famous supermodel who she decided to challenge anyway for the hell of it. She's being marvelously unreasonable, and she's mocking pretentious people when she says she was walking with the 'crappy models', because she is both intrigued and baffled by this hierarchy of the "coat hangers". She's not playing the victim, she's just having a laugh, telling her surreal experience! And she's not saying she didn't deserve any of the treatment she received, she was expecting it, obviously. I think her goal was to create this huge contrast, you know. She, a ridiculous clown, entered and disrupted a world so far from what she values, based on strict order, pretentiousness, acclaimed, deadly dullness, wealth, and exclusivity.
For those who say she ruined the show and people's hard work, I can't argue with that, but on the other hand, her presence barely changed anything in my opinion. Chanel has recovered, don't you worry. But, you know, I guess it's normal that you are offended if you're into Chanel and you worship Gigi for no reason other than she looks and walks a certain way. If not an attack, it was clearly a critical statement on the world of high fashion.
