@@massimomaxmajorana I don't know. I don't have it. I just know because a student who used to go to my highschool animation class helped make this. The student gave the tape of this to my teacher and told him about the scene.

Why does the bird hang in the thread from a balloon? It seems silly when there is no hint of an explanation for this highly unorthodox variation of the tale. Is it the animator's own weird idiosyncrasy, or is there a meaningful psychological point that we just have no chance of uncovering here?
The bird has been injured. Peter rigs up a temporary assist with the balloon, so the bird can survive while its wing heals -- which it gloriously does in the final scene. It's the filmmaker's idea, not Prokofiev's, but I like it very much.
Am I the only one who thinks the wolf is beautiful and adorable? She almost reminds me of this collie I used to have.
This version should get much more credit
There was a deleted scene at the end. When the wolf ran away, it turned out she was a mother hunting for food for her pups.
ohh they should have included it!
where is the deleted scene? in the DVD?

Yeah.. my students were like... damn wolf but the cat thinking only to eat the bird, that was funny and cute... prejudice starts from childhood.
@@massimomaxmajorana I knew the story and thought the music was beautiful since I was a little kid. I just don't know why it never made me cry

It's wing is broken.
broken wing... never judge a movie by the trailer! Watch the damn movie!
It's not fledged yet. Check the length of its tail feathers. Hence the need for a little help.
You didn’t watch the film, did you?
