Just got banned on 2 accounts.
One for “botting” even though the stats haven’t changed in years, as the pure is maxed.
And one account banned for “rwt” even though I’ve never sold a single coin.
I appealed both and both appeals were denied.
Jagex’s “detection system” is blinder than ray charles

Absolutely should not happen. If you rwt you get banned, sure. But if someone you traded rwts they should be banned not you. Doesn't even make sense. Basically can't even trade any more because you never really know what the other person is up to. They might as well just eliminate trade and force ge only transactions

I know one person who was banned for no reason, just started playing. Splashed for 2-3 days on and off while watching netflix with his gf; goes to log in. Boom banned for botting, went for appeal. Not able to appeal. lmao.
Im more concerned about the constant hacking through auth; and Pins. I know 4 people that've lost over 10b. Customer support: oh yeah, we see someone was on your account from a weird IP. WE can't do anything... Its pixels on a screen. They should be able to track all items AND have offline back log ability to replace items.... people lose 1000s hours of progress cause they refuse to have proper customer service. Its neglectful of business ethics IMO.

Are there ways to RWT successfully? If so, they're banning 8000hr accounts for no good reason.

I got flammed and trolled when I was trying to figure out why my alt got a temp ban for botting. Afk at pump with my screen dragged down into the corner and cropped to only see the pump. When runelite popped up saying I was about to log off from being afk, I would wiggle the screen or click back on the pump. I just canceled mems on that account and stopped playing it. No point if I literally don’t know what I’m doing that’s getting me flagged.

spent 3k hours, 2100 total, untrim slayer cape, just to get banned perm with no appeal. my dumbass got trade scammed so that flagged me for rwt, granted getting scammed is my fault, but how do i get rwt banned for the scammer selling what he stole from me. now i lost my whole account. jagex just flat out ignores or auto replies everything.

I think the example that you used in the video genuinely could just be poor wording. They could have meant that the gold was traded from their account, to a low-level mule account (that is owned by the same person), which then supplied it to a seller in an attempt to avoid their main account being banned.
Would make sense as it was later pointed out on Reddit and by the mod in the tweet that the person claiming that their ban is false is actually a member of Sythe and has posts listing an account for sale, posts vouching for someone who buys gold from players and posts about being an inferno booster for people. They've also offered account training through Sythe.
Just my personal opinion either way, but I think it's at least little likely that they just worded their tweet response poorly. Their posts aimed at Jagex asking to be unbanned all state different reasons for their ban, so they can't seem to keep their story straight, comically.

I cant seem to avoid getting banned. I am comped on my rs3 account, and have never recieved bans. Started playing osrs and im getting banned/muted for lending items to irl friends who may have previous RWTing bans or saying "fuck off" to someone lol.
@@Hydrog666 At a certain point, I think they are trying too hard to get the ban hammer flowing. Maybe it is all for the greater good and sacrifices need made but who am I to say! 😳

Very poor logic and reasoning, i know they’re implying that gold was muled over but being involved in a third hand gold trade could happen to anyone getting boosting. I’ve never paid for any of those services and am afraid of transferring any gp from an account not linked to my jagex account to be safe. I think this account was wrongfully banned though

I think the stated reason for the ban is a bit iffy, but it depends on the boosting that happened, right?
Did someone log into the account and train the skill? Was the account only carried through content?
I would imagine you would take all due care with an account that has that many hours.
I agree! I am very careful with my main account which has 1/3 the time on it. But the mod clearly stated that the reason for ban was because he traded money to an account that traded money to an account that sold the gp. Thought it was an interesting topic and appreciate you chiming in. (:
