Rather than clutching it to lift the wheels, get in very low rpm second gear, stab the throttle hard whilst yanking up on the bars, it'll get the wheels up then no worries. Try and find a grassed area to practice on, that way you don't have to be worried about it tipping up to far then onto the grab bar. The balance point is a fair way up. Grass will hurt a lot less than the road if you are tipped backwards. I usually do it on the beach, sand is better again haha. Definitely a case of practice makes perfect.👍
READ! Ok i have a 700r raptor. I can wheelie for 5 km long. I started 2 months ago. So what you do is hit the gas let go hit the gas let go youll have a momentum.. when your front end goes down hit the has and it will go up...
dont get scared, back brake is there for a reason, ever feel like youre too high tap it and down comes to the front... nerves are your worst enemy when your doing this kinda thing. all or nothing, do or die haha! gl, ride safe dude
I have a twist throttle on my yfz450 which has a 490 big bore and yeah you should buy one you feel like you are way more in control and just the feel of twisting a throttle feels good
Suuuuch a struggle watching all these guys tutorials, actually didn't help me,almost broke my toe on my wheelie bar, forgot too hit the back brake and it popped 12,and my foot slipped deeper inside the wheelie bar causing it too get a little stuck, from that point on I had ptsd,1 whole week of trying then that happen, amd I haven't tried again yet(raptor2022)
If your use to twist throttle then yes get a twist throttle... yes it will help with wheelies, an yes if you mostly ride around the streets more then you do in the trails then yes twist throttle would also be alot better in that to lol... where are you from I'm from Oklahoma
@@Motoposh heck ya that's awesome.. I hate twist throttle hahaha I had 1 break on me an it got hung up an stuck wide open while riding a wheelie an it drug me across asphalt for quite a ways an it wasnt to much fun lol but hell ya I wonder if you can have a fourwheeler street legal here in Oklahoma?? What all does someone need to do so??

My band teacher in high school said that practice makes permanent. Something I go by.
You’re not putting enough preload on the front shocks and then transferring your weight to the rear. Let the motor and front shock rebound pop it up
Glad I'm not the only one who still sucks at wheelies lol
Such a struggle 😂

I just got the brand new 2019 raptor 700r Se and today was the first day I went riding I hit second gear and wheelied like 70 feet.
Try sitting back on the seat more if possible
You are leaning forward try to scoot back a bit on the seat and lean back I had the same problem
great vids bro keep it up
Twist won’t help if anything it’ll make it worse
I figured that because once he's up,you never no,how you will react,unexpectedly
Pop the clutch In 2nd and sit back more going a little slower and it'll come up...
Just wear a tee shirt if you feel too hot haha! Great video as usual
