I find it funny how the fanbase characterizes the dimension dragons as the cute/noble pets of the yu-boys when their canonical motivation is that each of them hate humanity so much that they want nothing more than to fuse together again so they can wipe it out
I’m pretty sure the dragons want to stop each other from fusing as the first thing they do when they see each other is to kill the dragon in front of them and at the end yuya says they are scared and that’s why they want to make z-arc not to destroy the world

The Four Heavenly Dragons are by far my most personal favourites of the archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh and they always will be I just love everything about them the artworks the effects and their different evolutionary forms and their corrupted forms and their hybrid forms and the different supports they all have Arc V can and always will be my absolute personal favourites of all the Yu-Gi-Oh series.

Odd-Eyes is one of my favorite archetypes. Mainly because of the symbolism behind it. There's a reason why Odd-Eyes has two different colored eyes. It's because like Yugi, Yuya has two hearts. The left eye, which is green, represents Yuya's heart of light. The right eye, which is red, represents Zarc's heart of darkness. So, while the left eye is more prominent throughout most of ARC-V, there are few moments where the right eye is prominent, signaling that the Zarc within Yuya reveals itself. (i.e. 1:57, 2:10, 3:56, 5:02, 5:26, 6:52, 7:29, 12:26, 12:33, 55:45) And moreover, the way that Odd-Eyes keeps swinging its neck symbolizes how the pendulum swings back and forth between light and dark. First and last. Beginning and end. 光と闇 二つの心を持つ少年 (hikari to yami futatsu no kokoro o motsu shōnen) 人は彼を 「遊戯王」と呼ぶ (hito wa kare o `yugiō' to yobu)
I knew this somewhat but I didn't realize quite how deep it went, that's really cool! I always thought that the shot at 12:26 was such a neat touch for that reason too, because it's one of the only times when Odd-Eyes' summoning animation ended with its red eye in focus. I also didn't realize how prominent its neck swinging was, but it makes so much sense. Thanks for leaving a comment about this!
The fact that I still clearly remember the characters' ace monsters and their deck archetypes showed that ARC-V had some of the most compelling designs and ideas, too bad the story couldn't hold them up. Yes, those dragons are all very pretty especially the Odd-Eyes + other dimension dragons, Raging Dragon remained as my all time favorite (Also would really love to see the further upgrade of Dark Requiem, like Starving Venom Predapower and Crystal Clear Wing)

While it does count as an upgrade, I count it as another one for his Dark Rebellion and not Dark Requiem
At first I thought they were too cluttered-looking, especially compared to Photon, but Cipher has definitely grown on me and I agree that it looks really beautiful and the ost and chants for it are great. I'm still not the biggest fan of neo cipher's design though

I Love Starving Venom’s design. Odd-Eyes is by FAR my ABSOLUTE favorite signer dragon-But there is just something about Starving Venom’s design that is just so pleasing to look at. I also absolutely ADORE Brave-Eyes for the same reason!
Correct opinions king!!!! The dimension dragons in general look sick and I love that they actually have diverse body types/silhouettes and not the same generic bipedal build (stardust, galaxy-eyes, firewall, etc... also I love these dragons, it's just a factor that bothers me). Starve Venom and Odd-Eyes are such prime examples with their unique builds and they deserve so much more credit for being inherently cool designs
Now I like Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon even more I think Z-ARC should’ve Summoned Supreme King Z-ARC when everyone entered the fray. Would’ve made it more epic, especially if it’s effect takes out everyone.
You would think before evolving into ‘Pendulum’ Dragon, Odd-Eyes would have named Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon. It was the only dragon before the merging for Z-ARC to not have a Summoning method in its name. Which I alway found odd.
This video keeps reminding me how much I love playing odd eyes in Yu-Gi-Oh. I used to play a deck that contained every dimensional dragon with the supreme king counterpart and Z-arc because I was truly a fan of the anime. Then supreme king starving venom got banned and I learned about odd eyes not being even rogue. I now keep embracing this series by playing pendulum magician competitively

If you're referring to White Wing Magician, that's a completely different monster. I don't see why everyone is so desperate to gender Yugioh monsters. Clear Wing can be whatever it wants to be, and people can draw or think of it however they want to. Don't take some unrelated artwork as confirmed fact
