I love how this game originated the ICONIC main menu theme that was used in most games that came later. Booting up your favorite old school ND game and hearing that is such a big hit of nostalgia.
I love this game. Such a beautiful time capsule of 90s cheese. One of my favorites of the whole series, I don't care what anyone says. And the music sounds a little like Monk, if anyone remembers that show.
Oh yeah. Monk was the shit when I was growing up. It always came on at like 2am lmfao. And then right after was The Unit. Those were the days. Waking up in the middle of the night and turning the TV on, but turning the volume down asap so I wouldn't wake my parents. Better times.
I'm obsessed with the lobby theme idk why but it's so calming definitely the kind of music i'd listen to when i'm reading. I think this game's soundtracks is at the top of the ND game soundtrack list imo.
I have this one in my top 15. It feels like a very adult game when you have the romantic triangle with the main characters plus the dark aspect of the game when reading all the disturbing notes in Rick's dressing room. Combine that with a terrific soundtrack and a killer ending makes it a winner in my book. :)
Listen I'm a 24 year old male who grew up with 3 older sisters who played these games and when I tell you that I STILL call some of these games my favorites of all time I'm not kidding. The soundtracks are just next level. I need to go back and play STFD soon
I can still hear the creepy mechanical noise saying that somewhere in this room there is a bomb hidden. Of all the stressful death sequences in Nancy Drew, this is either the first or second. I would play this with my little sister, and we were both freaked out with this part because we didn't fully know how to figure it out, so there were infinite explosions and this music didn't help XD

@@NancyDrewWalkthroughs Absolutely! In the case of TTB, I'd recommend the book over the mini-series, but both are good, if dated, and the music is really pretty. To Sir, With Love might also be a book, but I definitely recommend the movie. It's a Sidney Poitier movie (*swooning*) from the 60s, in which he plays a teacher in the lower side of London area and helps his rowdy class mature before they graduate and enter "the real world." The Thorn Birds is scandalous: it's about a priest who must choose between God and a woman who's loved him since she was a child. The age gap and the power dynamic are all kinds of wrong, of course, but in addition to the "love story," it has a good family saga framework and the mini-series (from the mid- or late-80s) is well shot with wonderful Australian scenery. But when it comes to mini-series, the one I can't recommend more is The Winds of War, based on the novel of the same name by Herman Wouk (he also wrote the show's scripts). It's about how WWII scatters one navy attache's family members across each of the major theaters of war (e.g. one son is in Poland when the Nazis invade, another is in Hawaii when Pearl Harbor is attacked, one falls in love with a Jew stuck in fascist Italy, etc., etc.), and how living in each theater affects their wartime experiences. This one also has amazing music, a talented cast, and the budget to take you everywhere. I love it.
I love these soundracks, but I hate that there isn't a way to listen to these soundtracks on Spotify unless I bought the soundtracks and played through local files.

side note: we may* have scarred him at age 4 with the stay tuned bomb scene on multiple occasions.

Still one of the greatest game soundtracks.
