    Liked St Nicks, 10 always sounds good.
    Thought tou might have gone to the Cathedral.
    They were my dads job, he hung the original 10.

      Ashley Monck you have a great team and no old farts like me lol.
      Whee does the Lilliputes name come from.
      Dont tell me its like gtfu
      One day you will look back on the photos of the band and wonder whereyou all are and wonder what happened to so in so.
      Life is a bit llke that.
      Stay with i, its a great hobby and puvs are fun too.
      You better come to Aus and ring at St Andrews and St Marys.
      St Mary is a carbon copy of Canterbury and my dad hung them in 1986.
      And a bloody fine peal they are too

      steven rowe Most certainly not! The Lilliput Sea Scout Hut was our base for the first three Summer Tours we ever did and the name has just stuck ever since!

    Have you ever rung in Norfolk like aylsham or Norwich?

    • @simonbellringer
      @simonbellringer  4 года назад +1

      Yes - I've rung at a few Norfolk towers, including St Peter Mancroft (a fine old 12). Videos from Norfolk towers are elsewhere on my channel - including Saxlingham Nethergate, Castle Acre (excellent 6!), Brockdish, Woodton and Bergh Apton (gruesome!). I also have a few others in the pipeline that were filmed, but have not yet got round to uploading!

      @@RingerJamie I do get about, and know a few people from Norfolk (so pop over occasionally - haven't been for a little while tho!). Will have to let you know when I am next over there, though!

    the end seems weird were 1 keeps shouting rounds then back rounds then queens 0.o

      It's jump call changes - so instead of changing two bells at a time, we change the position of all the bells. It's excellent for bell control and, when done properly, sounds great!
