Excellent pickups of star wars stormtroopers keep collecting i just brought 40th anniversary return of the jedi biker scout and another 40 th anniversary gamorrean guard
I did order four, but my three openers have weird inconsistencies in terms of QC for paint aps. I don’t mind it as much because they are troopers and the original costume was also inconsistent due to the budget they had at the time. I decided to keep one on card due to the better cardboard and the Hildebrandt logo being shown properly. I’m not a fan of the figure however. The plastic feels off when compared to other releases so this might be because of the old buck used for the time. Also the E-11 Blaster being the Rogue One version instead of the OG which, oddly enough, is bundled with the new Leia. I’m not that bothered with it but I would be on any of the main or important characters.
These new VC231 Stormys are a true joy, and that classic 2x Stormys on the Death Star "canyon" cardback takes me right back to my childhood in 1978 when I got so excited to actually find the original Stormtrooper at Grace Bros for the the pocket-money killing price of $1.32 Aussie dollars ... good memories ! Finding a Stormy in the wild back then required being lucky to be in the store as they opened a fresh case, otherwise they sold like hotcakes.
The dots on the abdomen are supposed to be black. For some reason (actually in what has now become typical), Hasbro decided to screw this up and paint them with a mix of gray, blue, and tan dots. For the life of me I can’t understand how after 50 years of black dots on the Stormtroopers’ abdomen armor this is now something they can’t get right….🤦🏻♂️.
I just got 4 of the updated release, I wish I had ordered more. I didn't realize it would have a variant card at the time, so now I need to keep a pair carded. Oh well, maybe they will stay in production and I can order another case from EE.
I think they know demand for Stormtroopers is high. I'm hoping they upgrade the hips for the Sandtroopers, and update the Stormtrooper again. Cheers, Randy!
This is a great wave! I just got the captain Enoch and the night troopers boy what fantastic figures Enoch has some gold painted on his blaster I hope you ordered some cause you will be very happy
I never saw the mandalorian judge or others in person in the USA yet. I saw the vertical line and dots on R2-D2’s legs aren’t the same from og movies to Disney movies.
I just got a bunch of the new stormtrooper, and while very faint, the midsection connecting the chest and the pelvis is slightly yellow on all of them. Hope they don't all wind up with mustard yellow stomachs in a few years!
I'm just glad they re release the Stromtrooper because in my area here in the US didn't even see any of it. And now I am definitely gonna Army build these dude's long live The Empire.😎
It's a very smart re-release. Because they were initially Walmart exclusives, you couldn't get them in NZ at all, until Amazon and BBTS got them. Cheers for watching.
Good point. There is an ever so slight green tint to the lenses, it is very hard to pick up with the human eye, let alone over RUclips. Thanks for watching!
The reissue is not as bright as the original VC231 for some reason. I hope they don't yellow. I was thinking about swapping the E11s with the Night Troopers. Also, the Leia E11 is the best, but doesn't really fit it these hands. Thanks for watching, Scott!

My original version of the stormtrooper vc 231 both of them have the ROGUE ONE blasters with the flash light that's weird because I just looked at the 2 I had opened last year and I'm looking at the 2 unopened that I have on my wall all 4 have the flashlights on them and my new troopers I just got this past week they have a blueish tinge or better...aqua tinge to their eyes does yours have that???
You look nicely dressed today! I ordered a couple of those VC231 Stormtroopers reissues from Amazon to build up my Stormtrooper army collection.
They're being delivered by Amazon tomorrow! Originally was by the 13th! Now I get a pair of the Stormtrooper Reissues this Sunday!

The few troopers I received this week have green lenses. It looks like the troopers in the review have black.

Love a stormtrooper and these look extra bright. Pity about the torch, but can maybe swap them out for New Hope dioramas 😊

Yes. Mine have a greenish tint to the visor lenses, but it's very faint. Cheers
